Dash Rendar's Outrider actually features in a storyline between Empire and Return of the Jedi, he was around before fighting in the battle of Hoth being the start of his adventures with the Rebelion I believe.
Not that Galaxies has a timeline!!

They're certainly all over the place with the timeline with this expansion..
According to the Star Wars Databank:
A modified freighter, the Outrider was just one of several vessels seen flying over the port city of Mos Eisley that fateful day Luke Skywalker left Tatooine.
This is the new version of EP4 of course, it is not in the original.
The YT-2400 fits just fine in the timeline. I'll need a better reason than the YT-2400 to drop $30 on this expansion though.

For JTL junkies, thats all we stand to get out of ToOW.
From what I understand, the YT-2400 has pilot controlled guns. Ehm, that just might be worth $30 to me.![]()
That's the YT-2000(...the one I wanted, hehe).

Yes, the YT-2400 is from the game's real time period, but the other things are from the near and distant past. That's why I said it is all over the timeline.

So let me get this straight, after The Emperor got Vaders body from Mustafar, the planet was wiped from the face of the galaxy? Therefore making it out of the timeline right?
You got it. The same thing happened to Naboo; also, Endor's Forest Moon doesn't exist yet.
Tatooine is the only planet that survived from the beginning to the end of SW, LOL
The Y-wing was used back during the Old Republic, how can it exist in the current timeline?
...Because it's OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD!
Now, if we want to travel back to the world of SANITY, at least where time travel doesn'tenter the equation(no Vader Vs. Maul garbage here); EVERYTHING that once existed still exists in one form or another.
Is Aldaraan gone? No, it's a pulverized mass of debris now. If they added the solid planet, THEN there would be something out of the timeline, since we've PASSED the point where it was blasted by the Death Star
If you want something out of the timeline, the only thing you could have would be something from the FUTURE that exists NOW.
TIE Defender? T-wing? Missileboat?
How about the Yuuzhan Vong taking over the galaxy for a crackdown of their own?

I hate HATE HATE when people say this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How are they all over the time line? You are not going in the past this still takes place between A New Hope and Empire!!!!!!! You people act as though when you see certain things from certain times you are crossing time lines and eras.........if that were true then everytime you visited a civil war battle feild or a WW2 site were a battle took place you are going back in time and crossing time lines.....just because we dont see it on screen dosent mean that all of this stuff dosent exsist.Jesus man !!! Yes they are trying to make a little cash out of ROTS but everything that happened before a new hope is still going to be there just because Luke didnt buy a shirt and use there toilet dosent mean it wasnt there. I f anything they are actually getting something right for a change and trying to tie some crap together for a change.Case in point 1. Mustafar was in EP3 great it was were The Big Duel takes place (POI) 2. Obi-Wan's Ghost has been seen there because he has some sort of guilt issues over taking down Anakin (On Mustfar I might Add) so I am sure that is what the quest are about. 3. They have The Droid from KOTOR great more story stuff how did he get there ...what was he doing there? How did he servive all these years......new story stuff that I wanna find out!!!and what is better is it took place like 4000 years before A New Hope GREAT!!! more tie in's to make for a intresting story from other SW games. 4. They add the Yt 2400 Awsome more EU and it was seen leaving Mos Eisley the day Luke went there with Ben....again great...more stuff to build a more realistic world. Come on people get your heads outta your butts!!! I am not trying to defend the Devs but give them a very littel credit!!
For pissing hells sake man, grammar, spell checks and paragraphs are your friends!
Ahem, anyway, it's nice to see the YT-2400 will make an appreance, I just hope that its interior won't be reduced to three crappy rooms like the YT-1300

IT is NOT DASH RENDARS OUTRIDER. its the Stock Version like million other in the galaxy, to have modified self. Same as not ever Privateers YT is the Millenium Falcon. The YT-Series is Succesfull. with many model variants in all timelines.
Yes thank god, whats with some people? You guys see the YT-1300 or the 2400 etc and only associate it with the Falcon or Outrider. Thats like seeing an Aston Martin and saying "OH THATS BONDS CAR! THERS ONLY ONE!" -- no theres a **edit**load of Aston Martins, as there are a **edit**load of YT-1300s and 2400's. 2400's im not sure were in production during this timeline, but its definitely not a stretch and a welcome addition as long as its VERY combat oriented. The 2400 was not like the 1300, the 1300 had to be heavily modified to be a combat-ready vessel, whereas the 2400 came out of the production line very combat ready. This is why it was designated "Armored Transport" and not "Light Freighter" like the 1300. The armor is very thick and it was well armed. Rendars Outrider though, like the Falcon had many many illegal modifications including military-grade shielding.
Also, the Outrider was faster than the Falcon in sublight speed (which is all that matters in JTL, so it better be faster than a YT-1300
I just hope its Rebel / Privateer available. I wanted the 1300 but I have a Rebel pilot
