Thread: Notice how imp pilots get jipped on almost everything?

I couldn't actually count. Are we counting times where I have been the one piloting, or just gunning? I do feel that it is fair to say that I have had sufficient experience with handling both a multi-person Y-wing and a TIE Bomber to make comparisons between the two.

I saw my first Vette in the gun turret of a YT-1300. I was part of not less that 10 Vette runs in that YT before I ever hit Tier 3 of my first pilot squadron. I am still an active part of the crew of that YT. For quite a while (before the flying bug really bit me and I started taking my own ships to these things) I was on that ship almost every time it was launched. If it weren't for the admin list bug, I'd still be one of only a few who could freely change around the interior of that ship. At one point, I even dropped Tier 3 as an Imperial pilot just to take up Neutral and co-pilot. I am quite certain that I've had enough experience with POB ships and their capabilities.
I didn't ask anything off topic, I was referring to piloting issues.
But over all, let's see:
- Imp ships have lower mass than the equivalent rebel ones.(Rebels win)
- According to the devs own weapon hardpoint rules, the interceptor should have two projectile weapon slots (yet have only one), while the X-Wing should also have two (yet has 3). (Rebels win)
- Rebels get a 2 person ship earlier in tiers, where Imps won't see one until Tier 4 (Rebels win)
- From what I've seen, the handling on both faction ships are about the same, with the Y-wing (a bomber), having better handling than the TIE bomber (also a, well, bomber) (Rebels win)
- No factional tier 4 duty missions for Imps, yet rebels get them. (Rebels win)
- The rebels have no AT-ST equivalent, yet AT-STs are nothing more than faction point sinks (Rebels win)
- Imperial prison vs, no Rebel prison - this skews the game in favor of the Imps how? (Imps win, I guess)
- First loot revamp, all but two items dropped off Imperial NPCs, yet said loot was clearly aimed at Imps. The only way to get them was to: a) have a Rebel alt, b) know cool rebels willing to help Imps out, c) pay millions of credits. Second loot revamp (the devs told IMPS to be patient, it was only the first pass) never came to pass. (Rebels win, they get both content AND millions of credits)
- Cries of Alderaan story arc, the Imps were ahead, yet the devs not only gave out a call to Rebels saying so, they extended the deadline for the story arc so that rebels could bust rear. When the rebels pulled ahead, no such thing was given to the Imps. (Rebels win, granted, on some servers, Imps actually won the story arc).
I'm sorry, but to say this game is skewed towards Imps is at best, an mistaken understanding, at worst, a case for Idiot poster child.
Correct me if I am wrong, but the Dathomir stations are Tier 4 rebel duty missions. Or do you mean only missions given by trainers?

Rebel Fleet destroyed 2 Deaht Stars, Empire Fleet destroyed... hum..... er oh yeah, a couple of rebel ships.
Now seriously, I fly an X Wing (no the crapy desing Advanced) and i think they must remove the mid wings weapon slot. But please give us some level 8 engines with the movie style art..

By trainers, sorry, should have been more specific.
I'm personally jealous of the Imperial uniform... they get their film one right off the bat, wheras rebels can't even get the classic Rebel pilot helmet (just the one with the mask at master - which annoys me because it completely takes away the face of the person wearing it, which is what made the rebel helmets in the films cool; more personality).
Didn't they say they were going to add that at some point during the loot revamp?
