Thread: Game destroying bug. Do not drop faction with 6 ships in your datapad.
Heh. The ones of you who are trying to tell me to contact a csr,I already know how to do that, and have done it in the past, with poor results in 99% of the cases. Nobody can honestly say the CSR's here are great at what they do.

Wow, i guess i should have waitied till the grownups got home from work to post this... Thanks for the bumps though kids. Hopefully this will still prevent somone from being grounded for a few days.
We're kids because we're calling a spade a spade? Highly doubtful. It was pointed out almost immediately to you that the well written Pilot FAQ specifically advises against doing what you did, and yet you continue to complain, even going so far as to be abusive to the people who are telling you how foolish you're being.
Ducimus quoted me because you were still raging around slinging mud, instead of just taking a mea culpa and relaxing. I made a joke about it because I was coming back to quote my ownself, in light of the fact that you were degenerating your own thread into a pie fight.
Tough it out and take your lumps for making the bonehead post of the day. Or rise above it and post this workaround you discovered, that would prove you actually give a hoot about helping people, more than boosting your own post count.
You basically attacked a bunch of people trying to help and offer advice in how to rectify a crappy situation.
As we're both on Sunrunner I would have IMMEDIATELY jumped over to you and helped you out...as it is now, good luck Mr. Attitude.

...Would you trust a CSR with your items ingame?
Sadly your "dump all" solution would create another problem for you, you would not be able to fly your JSF, ARC, Heavy X, Crimson Tie, and your Y8. Due to "re-deeding issue". So, if it were me, I'd suck it up, and admit I messed up, take the loss and move on. I have to agree with alot of the post, you knew the 6 ship limit, you knew you were gonna start over, you should have been prepared. You did not prepare, its your fault, not SOE's. And, again, what if they do decide to come along and deed all your ships? You will be stuck with 5 or 6 nice little ship pills that you will not be able to generate.

Jeez. I dont have a cause to help...
The warnings given in game talk about not being able to USE the equipment. Doesnt say anything at all about not being able to re-deed, or remove equipment.
The issue only caused me about 20 minutes extra work. It barely effected me at all. Ill be master pilot in a different squadron by thursday at the latest. Some new player on kashyyk even got a freestarterTIE out of the deal.
The thread is simply to prevent somone who DOES have something to loose, from dropingfaction with their datapad full of ships...
But please dont worry anymore for little'ol me... Ive got a big fat z-95 loaded with what well call "very nice" equipment ready to go. Which happens to be the main reason i cant just destroy a ship.
P.S. What was i wrong about?

Ahh Drevin...
Now that you have nothing left that seems even remotely helpfull to contribute to this thread, you call me an exploiter lol. Not that you were any help to anyone before...
But atleast its another bump... So we can all say you are helpfullin pushing the thread to the top every few hours, if nothing else.
Well, just as we can count on you returning each time to respond as well.

So which one do i destroy?
The arc-170?
The y-8?The heavy x-wing?The regular x-wing with all my quest rewards and 6 months of RE-ed near perfect parts?
The Jedi fighter?
The Crimson tie?
You didnt even bother to fully explain your situation? I dont understand how the hell you even fixed this. If you had 6 ships and couldnt re-deed any of them, how the F did you get an actis and then give someone a starter ship and get certified to fly your (im assuming previously owned and not listed) heavy z-95, with higher level certified equipment in it than you can use in the game, thus exploting a bug in the system which only checks parts certifications when you load it, not when you launch it?
You come on here ranting and whining about the game and its problems and you dont even fully decribe your own problem, give us all attitude for suggesting that you are at a minimum a bad pilot that doesnt know his own profession or the limitations placed upon it by the game code and then come on ehre and boast of fixing it without anyones help when as best i can reckon, you probably had no problem to begin with? Whatever man
