So, to me if the new ROTW ships arent balanced we will see -
1. An end to most PvP
2.95% of peopleflying 1 of 3 types of ship - starter heavies, JSF, Greivous
3. Both of the above.
I cant see any of those options being healthy for Pilots, Shipwrights, Space, or SWG as a whole, can you?
I'm curious. Would they have still shown up had they been smashed by Interceptors, Oppressors and Advanceds? All of those ships are better than your Awing.
On Ahazi, it's been hard since day one of JTL to get Rebels flying. I have no idea why. Imperials rule the space lanes without challenge.
I spoend hours in Deep Space and if I'm lucky I run up against 1-3 Rebels theat whole time. Yes, I believe it's more than just these new ships that cause this problem on my server. I think the new ships add to the issue though. Personally, I'm doing everything I can possibly do to encourage more Rebels to get into space.
I can't help them level (because there's no way in God's green earth I'd pay for a second account!) but I have been known to give out a few key components to aid them. Honestly, I'm running out of ideas! For now, I will just keep putting together different player events and try to get more folks interested.
A balance pass on all the ships would be neccesary IMHO, but I imagine that we're not going to see that. On the otherhand if they do decide to change anything on the new ships I pray they let us know before they do. I'd have a heart attack if I lost any components to another "ship conversion" like when the added the cargo hold slot.
There's so much promise in JTL thats just not being used atm. Where's the capital ships? Where's the generic transports and frigates? Why haven't we sen any Rebel Capital ships? Why is it that the only ISD in-game never moves and is unable to communicate? Why can't we land on Space Stations yet or walk around inside an NPC controlled ISD/Rebel Capital ship? Why can't I dock with someone's yacht/deci/nova/Y-8/YT-1300?
So much potential. JTL is where those of us that are not interested in ground PvP go to have an even playing field. Unfortunately there's things that are currently unbalancing that field. Why aren't the skies full of pilots on heavily populated servers? Tomo understands this stuff. You folks on this board understand this stuff. Why is it that LucasArts, Sony Online, and the Dev's in general don't?
Have you seen all the reviews recently? G4 T.V. was doing a lot of E3 coverage along with a lot of Revenge of the Sith coverage. They had a few shows dedicated to every Star Wars game ever made... everytime they came to talking about SWG/JTL they all said the samething "This game had so much potential but doesn't live up to it. JTL doesn't live up to XWing vs TIE. Players have been let down by the developers not living up to their potential."
That is what needs to happen here. Fine, you gave us CU... now give me Star Wars!

Yep, definitely crying.I have been scouring threads today looking for any tips I can as a new pilot. You have been on several threads crying about this ship as well as being an a$$hat to anyone that a) disagrees with you or b) doesnt discuss exactly what you think the topicshould be.
Please move along as it seems that you only post criticismof the game and other people on the forums. You might try the galaxy forums. The seem to be chalked full of your kind lately.
Wait, you're saying that your whole argument against JediNg is that he is crying to much? And that you're whole defense for the JSF is people need to stop crying? I'm sorry, but sounds like you have no revelant argument to even bring to the discussion. If you're going to defend the JSF atleast do it with a post that is revelant to the discussion.
I agree with JediNg that the missle slot needs to be removed. I also think that the mass needs to be dropped. If you want to counteract my arguement then by all means counter it. But do not say that people who want the game BALANCED back to what it was beforethe Rotw are crying. The game is not right and needs to be fixed. Ships need to be fixed. Not the original JTL ships, but the Rotw ships. And yes that means your precious JSF.
I have fought one. I have 1 kill and 1 death from one. And I consider myself a good pilot. This person I flew against wasn't all that skilled. If he was then he would have taken me out no problem in that first engagement. The JSF makes a bad pilot into a good pilot by the sheer speed of the turn.Doesn't sound balanced to me. But i'm sorry. You must be uber now in your new JSF and consider yourself good since you got the JSF right? Is that why you call us cryers?
You are right. I dont know the first thing about pilot. That is why I came here. First 3 posts read and all 3 had this guy b!tching bout this ship. Oh and I don't have one, only 3233 in pilot. This guy is just annoying.

ya know jadeew, i read this entire thread, and what surprised me, is the fact that whileyou are no noob to these forums according to your rank and post count, u still seem to act like a 2 YO.
if you had read the many threads jediNG has posted in, in the pilot forums,u would have realized that he is NOT crying nerf, rather bringing a sincere opinion that sprouts from deep knowlage of this game.
I fully agree that the JSF need a balance pass.
To flame players who realy care, and understand, only reflects on yourself.
You might have noticed, that u were the only one flaming. the rest of us respect NG...
