JSF is the worst thing to every happen to space. Two gun slots, tiny profile, great maneuverability, and 90k mass. Coming from an Imperial perspective (used to low mass ships) there is good technical reason to use any other ship. Exactly like the composite of space: It's the best and never appears in any OT Star Wars movies.
The B22 has the same stats as the JSF, but it's about twice as longand twice as thick, making it incredibly easier to hit. While the chassis stats still unbalance it, I can still respect pilots who fly it (I cannot do that for anyone who flies a JSF, unless they see the error in their ways and convert
)
The Heavies I don't have a problem with, except for the cert. It should be moved to tier 4 or even master. I actually really like the Heavies and think they fill a role that was missing (at least on the Imperial side). And that role is exactly what they say it is, the Heavy Fighter. On one hand you have the light, small, maneuverable TIE Advanced (and A-Wing for the rebels), and on the Other end you have the missile launching tank of the Oppressor (or B-Wings and Heavy X-wings). I think the Heavy fighter fits neatly in that slot in between, doesn't maneuver quite as well as the light fighters, has a hit box that is easier to peg, but can make up for it with better parts from the extra boost in mass. But still doesn't take over the role of the the really Heavy fighters because its only got one laser and ordinance slot.
The other nice thing about the Heavies is that all 3 professions have access to them, and they are true Star Wars ships of the correct time period.
As for the Heavy X-Wing, RGI, and Vaksai, I think they also fit pretty nicely into the balance. Well, at least they would if the RGI hitbox was ever fixed. It's kind of silly that the Heavy X makes the regular X obsolete, but then again the RGI would make the normal Int obsolete if it gets fixed. But I suppose that's not such a terrible thing. If we have Heavy versions of TIEs and z95s, why not Interceptors and X-Wings? At least these ships aren't completely out of whack like the JSF and still fit into the cannon.
(And how come anything with Jedi in the name has to ruin this game?)
