A few of my friends dropped off the map recently. Too many problems with Bria's stability. A couple of others are talking about getting out of the game entirely.

Bria broke again tonight. So I have an alt on Starsider now. I probably won't play her much, just when Bria's down. Wait, that is fairly often, isn't it?

I swear, they need to upgrade to a ferret or gerbil and feed the hamsters to a snake... or lizard

While I am ambivalent about them "fixing" anything in the space game, considering the fact that there is so little quest oriented content, you would think they would move to fix the Y8 ASAP. That said, I understand how priorities are set in the software industry these days and unfortunately it's not always objective or based on need. I've sat through a lot of meetings over the years watching things get prioritized based on whether the bosses performance evaluation or vacation was imminent. Sometimes, it's more about politics than technology. Fixes like this have the smell of someone polishing the old apple as it were. And the fact that it immediately had problems implies to me that this was a "I need something to show for my review and all I've got is a hard drive full of porn" type push. Get it out, claim victory, blame the devs if it screws up like they probably said it would.

If I sound cynical, then clearly you don't work in IT.

LoL I'm a Jedi and a Pilot, working on 3rd Mastery currently, I consider myself I pilot 1st and a Jedi 2nd, because...well space rocks!
