seriously, u shouldnt have to fly without a lvl 10 engine 2 lvl 10 weapons and a lvl 8 shield, i think its complete bull to have to choose between those at all. Also, while were at it, the JSF needs a launcher slot for each missle type, k thx.
The spacebomb launchers should be able to lock on as quickly as the IRs though...I mean, it is for a Jedi afterall.
ya, and jedi should be able to prevent the missle warning goin off, cuz they have the force!
LMAO!!!!!! Why should any one ship be the "I Win" button? It's an intercepter plain and simple. It doesn't need a lvl 10 blaster to be effective. Nor do you need a cert 10 engine to be effective (I use cert6 engines, cert4 cap's, cert 6 shields) learn how to manage mass. To be the "best" you don't need any of that. You just need to know how to manage your components, spend the time to get the right stuff re'ed, and more importantly you need to know how to pilot your ship.
Lemme tell you, you give those ships more mass and us real aces will really tear you down quickly. Imagine a GOOD pilot with that much mass on the most manuevorable ships in the game! LOL! You'd never stand a chance!

Its called a Jedi Starfighter for a reason. It should be 1.5 time more powerful than any other ship. So I should be able to all L10 components in it.
It's only 1.5 times with pre-nerf components ... in fact, then it's 2-3 times. Without pre-nerf, you're easy meat for a well-equipped Firespray...

Hehehehe.. yeah it should be just like Jedi, nerf'ed for the past three patches! LOL! Also if you think a Jedi is 1.5 times more powerful than BH'ers you obviously have never played as a Jedi.

btw.. I'll happily blast your JSF (90k mass, 2 weapons, 1 launcher, 1 chaff) out of the sky anytime in my old school Intercepter (50k mass, 1 weapon, 1 launcher, 1 chaff). Then laugh hysterically as you whine your way all the way back to Dantooine for repairs.
I know...that is why JSFs need an upgrade. They are supposed to be the best. And built in epulse is a great idea. No JSF should be without it...but it needs to be more effective at longer range...say out to about 500m.
NONE of the masses need to be changed at all - you merely need to be better at (or more receptive to) fitting components - I realize math might not be everybody's strong suit, but that's what calculators are for.
And finally, you don't walk into someone's home, help yourself to the fridge, and tell the people their favorite beer sucks without getting a kick in the gut and tossed out on your ass. This isn't the goddamned Jedi forum, and last I checked, it sure as hell wasn't Burger King, either.
This is the only forum I know of where someone walks in, shouts "OMG IT'S TOO HARD MAKE CONCESSIONS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO LEARN THE ROPES" and gets shouted down for it. That's what I love about this goddamned profession, and that's why I think space is the last real hope this game has.

I'd stick a Jedi in those empty launch tubes I have on my A-wing. Didn't quite have the mass left over for ordnance once that lvl 8 engine, gun and lvl 7 shield combo went in. 'Just' enough room to stick a Jedi though...and that Epulser in the other one once I finally get someone bigger and stronger than I planetside to lynch them
. They don't have to serve a purpose apart from the comedy value of having a flash frozen sentient wedged in your ship. Kind of like furry dice...
It's all about those pre-nerf components. My AWing has an image-rec and chaff loaded. I even carry light mass armor on that thing. Check this out...

Been there, done that but as far as I can tell, with the lvl 8 weapon, engine and lvl 7 shield combo, ordnance is a no no. I have chaff and everything else and 'perhaps' Mk I Image recs might squeeze in, but I sincerely doubt it. Now If I did go back to my pre-nerf lvl 6 engine, I'd have plenty of spare mass to play with but I feel safer with the QID.
