I still use my normal TIE Interceptor from time to time. But mostly because I gave her an awesome name (Naughty Pixie), so it's fun just to fly her around every now and again.

I have both the heavy and standard x-wing and i do use them both.

The heavy X-wing has enough mass for me to load good parts in it to make it pwn many random tasks.I use it mainly for escorting other players on their missions as i can take a beating as well as dish it out without much worry. I do not think i have ever died inthat ship yet (nor do i plan to hehe)

I forgot to post above that i use my Standard X-wing to mine and with 3 mining lasers equipped i'm still a formidable opponent when it comes to those damned asteroid bandits in kessel. It's also good because while i was doing my other pilot squadrons i just left the x-wings in my datapad, then when i came back to rebel pilot, they were waiting for me.

just wondering how many of you that have the heavy Xwing & Interceptor and the standards actually still use the standards and why?

Yeah, as indicated in my post, its a great mining ship that doesn't require me to swap out parts and inventory them.

For PvP I fly the JSF or A-Wing, For Fun PvP with a group of mates, I use my Nova. For heavy PvE support for helping people on missions I use my Heavy X-Wing, and for hard missions that need some heavy hitting, I use my B-wing. I also use the Nova to take a low level pilot up to get xp on some tier 4 duty missions.

but as i said just can't get away from my advanced x-wing.

i am starting to load out my B-wing to learn that beast as a PvP ship as well.

I'm an Alliance Ace Pilot - Arkon's Havoc Squadron

I fly:

Advanced X-Wing: My main starfighter. I forgo boosters because with a quality engine and EO3 there's no need for em. I've got 3 guns and a cannon on there, and spacebombs! My R2 unit is packed with the 5 command special.

Only things that still give me problems in PvE are gunships, they are still a pain.

I bought JTL to become an X-Wing pilot.

A-Wing: It's still in my Datapad, but needs an overhaul. I don't use it all that much since I love the X-Wing so much.

Nova: I've not brought her out for a while because it's hard to find a crew. Fun ship, I'd rather have a YT-1300 but it's not a bad ship for some multi-player fun.

Y-Wing: I use this ship to help newbies get xp, or if a newbie pilot wants to come on a hefty mission and the ship he has just won't cut it. Rare that I fly it, but when I do it's a tank thanks to Droid Commands, needs a little overhaul too.

ARC-170: I got this recently, and had it fully stocked. I've yet to use it for lack of having 2 gunners and/or a lack of time to try it out. Can't wait tho.

I had a B-Wing, and sold it, cause I had a very hard time with the maneuvering. I didn't like it very much. I'm interested in a Grevious fighter, since I refuse to go Imp to get a JSF.

Disgracefully enough, I just fly an Eta-2 for PVE and PVP, and occasionally bring out an oddly-outfitted Royal Guard Interceptor when I'm helping people on missions.

Flew a Belbullab in PVE for a short while just to be a little different, but I got tired of always swapping parts back and forth, and it tended to make my engagements against Eta-2s in Deep Space a little too harrowing.

If Imperials had a 3- or 4-weapon ship, I'd fly that in PVE, but I don't find the minimal firepower advantage of an Oppressor, based only on having extra mass to work with, to be worth it over a ship as zippy as the Eta-2, which is really more my style.

I used to fly a Dunelizard when I was privateer, loved that ship due to it's balance between mass, agility and firepower.

Currently flying a heavy tie to get imperial ace, after that and once I get some parts RE'd I'll probably go with the Royal interceptor just for style alone

I have my Oppie (tank) and my RGI (speed) mothballed while i finish out Privateer with my Dunie (speed) and Rihx (guns).. 2 other slots are filled with a JSF that I have flown a grand total of twice (I keep it parked on Kashyyyk just in case) and my Yacht. Saving room for a Lambda.

Now if I could only keep my Rihx AND go back to Imperial... there's just something about 3 RE'd level 8 blasters pumping out almost 10k of damage.

I am actually planning on using a Heavy Z-95 for PvP, at least at first. The ship has ample mass, ample manuerverability and just looks plain cool all tricked out with everything loaded up on it. If it turns out to be a bad choice, I will give something else a go.

Although, if I was involved in large skirmishes, I would fly something to suit a particular duty within the larger Wing/Squadron.

awing: its manuverabl, its got really big guns and its hard to hit, what more can you ask?
heavy z95: its fast, it slices, it dices, it sends you home crying (plus bonus style points, cause i just killed you in an antique )
Sorosub luxury yacht: always nice to have more storage and an opportunity to show off
