For Style? The Spice of Life - A heavily modified and extremely fast YT-1300 with some serious firepower backing her up. I'm good at outrunning most people

For Firepower? My Rihkxyrk. I'm one of the last on the server who doesn't fly a JSF or Bel-22. The JSF just looks like a toddler TIE and the Bel-22 looks like a friggin' Cadillac in space. Neither are aestetically pleasing to me.

For Mining? The Lethal Flirt - My Krayt. 3 lvl 3 mining lasers and a Tractor Beam in the gunner's chair. Now I'm just waiting to hear about it being fixed.

Freelance is the only way to go.

I currently fly an ETA-2 Actis Interceptor, 'cuz Obi-Wan flew it, and Obi-Wan is like my most favouritest Jedi evar. However, I am still working on my A-Wing, X-Wing, Advanced X-Wing, and B-Wing

I fly:

Royal Guard Interceptor: Serious style points
Decemator: I like the idea of POB ships, even if they don't quite live up to tht ideal.
Advanced X-wing: To paraphrase, "I like big guns and I cannot lie"

I dont fly any one ship as my favorite, instead i have different ships for different situations:

Nova: Secret Spy meetings and illegal drug trafficking, ISD parties, and jes chillin

X-Wing: PvE, Grinding

Heavy X-Wing: PvE, PvP, ISD runs, Loot Collecting

JSF: PvE, PvP, Helping on Missions, Loot Hunting, ISD runs

Grievous: Same as JSF in every way shape and form (Cept JSF looks kewler)

Y-Wing: PvE, Grinding for other ppl who are so lazy that i have to stick them in the turret seat where they go afk w/o telling me

I prefer fast maneuverable fighter so for PvP I use my Vaksai or maybe my JSF (I have worked with it component wise to optimize my fighting styleand I haven't quite got the vaksai up tothat level yet.)

For PvE I use the Bel-22, its all about looking good. I can handlejust about anything PvE with any of my ships but I like the way the Bel-22 looks.

On the odd occasion that I want raw firepower I use my Krayt (although it has been refitted for mining since I never used it)

Advanced X-wing: Allows me to be competitive with ROTW fighters, it's still an X-wing (albiet with swollen hamster cheeks), and it's got enough mass to make Wedge howl in delight.

Actis: When I want to look better than I actually am

Nova Courier: Group PvE monster machine and proxy Winnebago. These things are very underappreciated in a number of ways. Better performance than a B-Wing at optimum maneuverability.

Advanced X-Wing: Rebel PvE dream machine, with PvP prospects if the owner has the right RE'd gear

A-Wing: Low mass, high performance starfighter that can give you respectable PvP performance without selling your soul to the Clone Relics.

B-Wing: Prior to the Advanced X-Wing, this was the PvE lawnmower of choice.

X-Wing: Two Mark II Mining Lasers and a Mark III Mining Laser in the midwing for amazing results in Asteroid mining.

My answers (and by the way, your english seems to be improving as you post more.)

My main two ships...
X-wing: enough mass for two decent guns and a mining laser in the third slot, and easily replaced as the chassis decays.

Belbullab-22: two decent guns again, and awe-inspiring handling.

and the backups.
ARC-170: good handling, and better than a y-wing for style points if you want to let someone play gunner. Leave the third weapon slot empty, it's a waste of mass/energy.

Nova Courier: nothing to sneer at. With WO3 and some competent gunners, PvE is way too easy and PvP -almost- doable.

I fly:

1. My B-wing for everyday flying. I just like the challenge. There is nothing easy about flying this so I have to be fully engaged. Also, the more I fly it, the more I seem to be able to do in it.

2. My B-22 for providing fighter cover to friends on their missions. Especially if they are lower level, and we are doing something like the heavy x-wing quest. The B-22 lets me slip in and out very quickly and take out targets with maximum speed.

3. My Heavy X-wing - This used to be my choice for soloing missions. It lays down a lot of smack very quickly, and also shrugs off the hits from all but tier 5 gunboats and the vette. This is also a good choice on destroy missions. I can take out afreighter,Decimator or YT very quickly.

But the more I fly it, the more the B-wing becomes my ship of choice. I have run the vette several times in it (not solo yet), I can kill gunboats very effectively with it now, and I am able to hunt loot very effectively in it. It is also a very effective support ship for helping friends and guildees during their missions. I don't PvP much yet, so can't really speak to that part. I am gathering loot to RE some even better parts, but even with the off-the-shelf stuff I have now, I seem to do pretty well.

just wondering how many of you that have the heavy Xwing & Interceptor and the standards actually still use the standards and why?

Bel-22: Because I'm sick of the JSF, haven't used it in well over a month.

TIE / Adv: Because I'm a masochistic chump who somehow still feels that I've validated myself by flying a ship that caps out around 65k mass with the same characteristics of the JSF/Bel do with their 90k mass. Just can't help it, the Bel and JSF really are like playing the game in Easy Mode.

And with my Rebel pilot:

Y-Wing LongProbe FTW!
