as mentioned earlier, i'm afraid all the people will make a mad rush into space and start calling for nerfs. lol.

I fail to see the downside for all of us. The more nerfs they do, the more pre-nerf equipment we have

I don't mind fresh blood. Too much insularity in a community tends to lead to inbreeding.

Of course, fresh blood also tends to bring with it a lot of ignorance, both real and perceived, but I've got faith this forum can handle it with a cool head. Have in the past, even with those Dead Horse threads.

hard to breed at all perma sealed(nearly) in your cockpit

And to think of all those new pilots.

And what they can do with Epulse once I tell them how to use it. I mean, once they discover it on their own

Best way to show noob reb/imp/freelance all at once

Take em up in an "iconic" Millenium Falcon knockoff and show em DS in style

Well, at least once they fix the resource issue

Wow, this is still going...

I think I figured out what bugs me! It isn't that I feel cheated so much.

If JTL is now free, I hope that's because they plan on integrating it more into the game as a whole. I mean, really, it should have been in at launch.

But truthfully, deep down, I know that when you give something away for free (as a business) it means it's not worth selling anymore and you don't care. As in don't support it. Time will tell, I guess.

BTW, my cockpit isn't sealed. In fact, I got tired of fixing it, so I just wear a space suit now. While my kill count is still higher than my deaths, dang rebel-scum just get too many hits in on my poor Interceptor.

To paraphrase Eminem, "You created a monster"

Think on it like this, perhaps:

They can't simply dismiss it now. They have made it a part of the very beginning for new, incoming players.

They are trying for a "starwarsy feel" now, or so they say. This could be the entrance into the GCW that some, myself included, have wanted.

New pilots getting a glimpse of the station will, eventually, hopefully, come onto here and ask for more, similar interactive stations like we already want.

Yes, it irks me too that we paid for something that others are getting for free, but ya know what? I have quite a bit of nice loot that I wouldn't give up, (I'm sure you do as well), that I wouldn't give back for the 30 dollar cost. BTW, Tomo reported that the NGE crashes w/o JTL. SO, it looks like JTL HAS to stay

Granted, that doesn't mean we shouldn't get SOMETHING GOOD (hint, hint SOE:lightsaber for our commitment.

Personally, I waited until JTL came out to buy the game when I heard the original launched game didn't have it.

In JTL, I was dissapointed that all I could really do as an end game was loot and PvP.

Thankfully, there is the Pilotcommunity. All in all, a great group of people whom, at times, I have had the honor and pleasure to both combat with, talk to, and, at times, have debates with and compare notes to, regardless of affiliation.

Keep those tinted windows on the POBs, methinks, cause I think our community has a nice shiny future

BTW, if you want a new, spiffy intercepter dropped off somewhere, I'll make ya one

Dragon that is the LAST thing you want...if they integrate the two then people will feel they need to do space for whatever reason. Then all the whining about how hard it is will be 10x more. The last thing I want to see is space dumbed down like the ground game was....space is my retreat from the nonsense on the ground. If space gets messed with what will be left?

I think the decimator is pretty ugly lol. Not as ugly as our rebel nova courier mind you.

Naw, the Decimator's a pretty sweet ride. Wish I could fly one as a master Rebel pilot.

Though I've taken a liking to the new YT-2400...first guildmate got one last night, hopefully will get mine tomorrow. (Damn lockout timers!) When the flight computer bug is fixed they'll be the sweetest ride in space, IMO.

True, the nova can be ugly on the outside, but it has a great interior. The nova still amazes me every time I launch in it.

Been in all three, Deci has the best interior hands down.

I get chills every time I take someone who's never been in one up.
