I've been doing ok when I take my Longprobe up. Week before last I was 5 wins and 1 loss and the loss was to Haro. Currently I don't have it in my Data pad only because I outfitted a regular Y-wing in an attempt to help a guys get xp until I finally convinced him that flying his own ship would be better. We did manage to take out the ISD in the regular Y-wing though. Also I only have one really good engine. Longprobes are not such a bad one on one PvPer. They can turret like mad so it helps compensate for the turn fight crap. They also have two guns pointing straight ahead which makes hitting a smaller hitbox ship much easier. I don't think the alliance has a better jousting ship. For me anyway. I always feel like I'm spraying and praying in an x-wing. Even the A-wings cannons have a much wider spread. In large scale PvP though the LP is just too darn big. Enemy fighters don't even have to be shooting at me to hit me but in an A-wing I can usually make runs between whole clusters of enemy ships a couple times before someone finally gets a lock on me. This is not to say you will never again see me do a large engagement in my LP again. I love the ship way too much for that.

I have this theory about that new ships that their too dang fast for their own good. It takes a really good pilot to be able to aim at that speed. I've noticed a lot of targets having control problems. Or perhaps I've just been running into a lot of bad pilots recently Harotake excluded.

Oh and also...has that annoying 'wings not opening/closing' bug been fixed yet? I just need a name for my B-wing's variant. I think I might be corny and go with 'Behemoth'.

As for you Duc...your suggestion is actually what I settled on just before readin git . I'll have a B-wing and an X-wing on the go at the same time in between flying my A-wing.
