Thread: EXP should mean LEVEL like ground game.

The concept of "a level" is intrinsic to the RPG system. It is a way to guage your avatars progrerss. All skillchecks and ablities reside on your avatar, (not the player) whom you "level" to gain more abilities, and greater skillchecks.

JTL is an action, arcade, twitch style game. Skilchecks and abltiies reside with the person at the keyboard, not the avatar.


Learn to fly better, and your "level" will increase.

I had some help coming up to master, but I did my mastery in the days before level 3 and 4Droid Commands were readily available. I got through to 3322 in an armorless Z-95 that I took everywhere except Kessel or Deep Space. I've got another character currently 3322 Smuggler's Alliance Freelancer, but I'm just not much into the neutral ships. One of these days, I'll get him up and going.
