Clicky!

As others have said, stick with your current stick and decide if you hate JTLS or not. Personally, I'm a huge fan. I'm sure most people in this board are biased

Im a big fan of saitek also, currently using the EVO, after my cyborg gold finnaly bit the big one. You can keep those x-36, 45 , 52. I had an X-45 and could never get the hang of it, in this or any other game.

Ya I also use the Cyborg EVO, but I use the force feedback version. I do disable force feedback in SWG launchpad, but I could not live without the adjustable spring-return rate that the EVO force has.....

im still kinda new to swg and jtl. I'm imp 2/2/1/1. I just dusted off my Logitech Digital Extreme 3d today and started using it. It takes alot longer to kill but I think that's a pesonal targeting issue that will improve with practice. Other than that I LOVE all of the controls being available through buttons, although I havn't tried the target with the POV hat like other people have mentioned here. I'll try that next time I go up.

Twisting is good.

True throttle control is awesome, especially against those stupid Y wings who obviously have rear bumpers made of permasteel.

I use the Cyborg Ego as well. I actually prefer the higher tension of the Logitech sticks better, but as a lefty, the Evo is one of the few sticks that accomodate me. Outside of it being a little looser than I prefer, it's a great stick. The number of buttons and location of them is superb, and I only need the keyboard to perform non-combat functions.

The Sidewinder 3D Pro was my personal favorite stick until I got the Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. Neither failed me, and they both have the ever so useful rudder control, throttlet, 8 buttons, etc.

Though I like the grip of my FF2 more.

Might be kinda hard to find one now though since they're out of print. Logitech makes some good, cheap ones too.

I'm useing a Saitek Cyborg 3d Rumble Force. It's not too bad, Before that I had an old MS Sidewinder 3d Pro that came with a copy of Mechwarrior 2 way back in the day. Sadly as of Windows XP it couldn't pick up the joysick on my soundcards gameport.

Once again, thanks for all the feedback, it sounds like Saitek is a definite favorite amoung JTLers.

To BeakerMike: That's weird that you can't pick it up, I'm using Windows XP and my sound cards gameport picks it up and uses it just fine (well, in XvT and Freespace 2 anyway). Yes, I have a 3d pro anda Precision Pro. I really need to upgrade.
