but if ya get a unlimted deed then they can sell the barc's and the mounts all day long and keep getting new ones unless they would be like the flash and they have to pay 20k for each one. which is still ok i would trade off my mount or barc for 20k as long as i can get a new one.

I beleive all the modified ships will replace the original version of themselves. The new ships I think should be for everyone except the rebels should get the jedi starfighter since the jedi fought for the republic, the arc-170 for neutral pilots, and greivious fighter for imperial faction. Also, I beleive that the Y-8 should be given to all factions; but do really mind that all factions will get the same ships(means this rebel pilot will be making some ship changes in the near future)

Actually.. if you want to look at it that way...

ARC-170 to the Empire. Flown by Clone-Troopers who are utilized by the "republic" which becomes the empire. Clone Trooper = StormTrooper. (even though it has the obvious S-Foils that we usually attribute to Rebel ships)

Grievous Fighter = Nuetrals Used by Grievous Seperatist general. Seperatists are mainly pawns of the Sith and get smoked pretty good in the upcoming film.

Jedi Starfighter = Sure, let the Rebels have it (even though there's the glaring TIE cockpit design even though it is made by KUAT systems)

Honestly, I rather have them cert'ed for everyone (I think they're gotten through quests or something.. not sure) because these ships are no longer in service by any established military or military group. Not too mention, I want to fly em all!

There is no death, there is immortality.
There is no weakness, there is the Dark Side. I am the Heart of Darkness.
I know no fear, but rather I instil it in my enemies. I am the destroyer of worlds.
I know the power of the Dark Side. I am the fire of hate.
All the Universe bows before me, I pledge myself to the Darkness.
For I have found true life, in the death of the light.

Personally I would love to see these ships be similar to the Firespray in their acquisition. But rather than having the schematics come from RE'ed components have the schematic fragments and certain specific components be direct loots. Similar to the loot kits on the ground. A SW crafts the auto kit with the required resources, and sells it to players. Players loot the remaining special components, and schematic fragments to assemble into the kit. The various fragments and parts could even have enhanced stats that way there's incentive to be patient and see what you can find before assembling your ship. Enhanced stats could include:
- Free mass allowance for a certain component slot(e.g. certain ships are just engines with cockpits strapped to them, so give unlimited mass for the engine at say a 10% tradeoff of the ships stock mass)

- Enhanced targeting(missiles take 50% as long to acquire lock)

Personally I like the idea of these antiquated designs being flyable by any faction.

What I'm hoping is that they'll allow pilots to grow their skills outside of the ones imposed upon them by factional limitations.

As it stands, Imperials for the most part, are relegated to small massed highly manueverable fighters. The Bomber is the real exception here.

Rebels have high massed less maneverable fighters than the imperials, with the A-Wing being the most "Imperial" type of fighter.

Freelancers stuff is in the middle of the two.

It is my fond hope that these new fighters are diverse enough to allow all three factions to experience ships that have the basic design specs attributed to all three factions. (I'm speculating here) I see the Jedi Starfighter being the most Imperial like (low mass/high maneuverability), the Grevious fighter the Freelancer type (Medium mass/Mediummaneverability) and the ARC being the Rebel type (High Mass/Relatively low base manueverability)

This should allow the Imperials who have been dying for that 3rd gun to get a chance at it, the Rebels who want a small zippy fighter with more than 1 gun their turn, and the Freelancers who'd like to experiment with either extreme their shot at the pie.

On a personal note, I'd love for them to replace the YT-1300 with something else, because it is my least favorite POB ship. (Basically because it's a frighter and the innards reflect that, while the Nova, imo, has the best "main room" and is laid out more like a starship (again, imo) should be;the Decimator has the best cockpit; and both of them have windows for the passenger to look out of...while the YT feels more like a cave.)

These are just my thoughts.
