The corvettes are exactly the same, what makes killing the imp. corvette a little more difficult is the fact that the GBs have more weapons and the escort fighters are a bit stronger. Those agressors can rip you a new one if you are not paying attention 
VtheDrake, no one is saying that you are a bad pilot or that you should not use bomber strike. All we are saying is that if you think the corvette is too easy with bomber strike, try and do them without bomberstrike and see if that way it is more suitable for your needs. I am a Smuggler Alliance Freelander and I can tell you that the Corvette can be a real pain if you do not take the time to come to the boards and read the strategy to them. Also, never beg to nerf bomber strike. If you don't like it, then just don't use it. But it is selfish to ask for it to be nerfed just because you think it is too strong. The you will end up with the piece of crap privateers have that goes for the name pirate trap 2. Such a useless command I even dont have it on my toolbar although I have space for it. Fr me it is just a waste of code.

I helped a friend kill the vette yesterday. I killed both gunboats and the fighter screen. Even took out gun 5 and a couple of the others on the topside.
They then remembered to use bstrike
Once you've done it once, and have an idea of where the guns are, the vette really is a walkover... (I was 3433 btw. Vette gives 43k exp without the mastery bonus)
