You're absolutely amazing. You come on here griping about your upcoming 'nerf', and then what, expect some sympathy? Some help rebuilding your loadout while you wait for the next exploit to give you an 'edge' against your opponents? What exactly?
Why am I aggressive?
I'm sick and tired of what people like YOU have done to this game.
Is it really that hard to NOT do something you know is wrong? Game or not, I mean JESUS, how hard is it to just play by the rules and NOT cheat?

Explain to me how cheating in this manner alleviated your boredom, PLEASE.
Just go into at least a LITTLE detail on how removing any and all constraints on the equipment you can add to your ships made things more 'exciting' for you.
Try another excuse once you're done.

I gotta admit this has become entaining for me.
I mean firstly, everyone chewing ostat out. Heh, if you can remember any of my past ranting with space pvp / rotw ship relate threads...... imagine knowing about these sploits for months, knowing the true state of the game, and not being able to say a damn word about it or get banned. I thought i was gonna explode.
And ostat, man you really set yourself up for the fall on this thread. As these sploits go, i gotta admit, i feel cheated. I have felt cheated for a very long time. The 4800 shields is enough by itself, really. But, i always give credit where credits due. You are always honest, friendly and upfront with me, and for that i give you respect. Id talk around these exploits on the forums and ingame, hint about them, wanting to spill the beans so the truth could be known, but i was never gonna mention names in a public forum. You kinda sorta did that yourself.

Thats not very hard, the majority are rookies with crafted engines.
As for me, im one foot in the door of retirement. All things considered, from sploits to mechanics, PvP to me has become utterly pointless. Ill pull the squint out again when theres a meaningful GCW in space and not before.

Thats not a challenge, its just how i feel (i feel cheated). As kill/death ratios go, i know you can fly like hell, but i dont count your kills on me.
Anyway, its his hole he dug, not mine. I wash my hands of it.

hey now ive put in three tickets about this and pm'd tiggs on teh forum, so im one of the reasons its getting changed.
as for not wanting a challenge, there hasnt been any challenge at all in jtl for me since they added cap to shield shunt. i hit the absolute limit on what an awing could do, and nothing except IR2 oppressors could come close to touching me. i got bored and decided to take it past the limit. immortality was fun, but i still dont plan on ever getting shot down in my JSF.

He is arrogant, callous and downright annoying with his 'oh im better than everything' attitude but he is actually pretty decent and yeh..a bloody good pilot.
No I can't respect the fact that before he had the 0 mass parts deal going on..he already had a shield which nothing could touch but meh..the point is, he was honest about it and people knew. Whether they wanted to respect him not was/is their choice. I don't think he cares..which is fair enough. He is just playing a game like everyone else here. The most annoying part for me was that everyone who knew about it would then complain to me about it as if it were my job to report him or somthing which..I wasn't going to do because well...if people want somthing doing, they should do it themselves and I like him, I learned a lot from him pvp wise. Hell..he and Dum' are the ones mainly responcible for getting my ass in an A-wing.
I can't say I agree with him on pushing the limits..I mean, just because a game is broken..you can still choose to fly fairly, I sure am and will continue to...I mean, as far as 'untouchable' goes.that isn't the point. In my view a pilot who believes themselves to be truly awesome won't mind flying a ship which doe shave limits. I don't think I am untouchable by any stretch of the imagination, but half the fun I get is from flying my A-wing with it's limitations ratherthan choosing to stretch the limits so as to make it way way harder for other people..if not impossible for them to kill you.
Plus yeh, I'd dueled him a couple of times...lasted for a while then been blasted to pieces and it was obvious his setup was totally imbalanced..in factI'm kind of wondering what made you feel you could even comment on the balance of this game when you were using this 0 mass/drain setup but meh..I'm not your judge/jury/or executioner.
As for pushing the limits on what an A-wing can do...I whole heartedly disagree with you, but /shrug whatever...we're all entitled to our own oppinions.

To be honest...before my week break from the game, I probably would have been a lot more harsh, but that week break has turned me somewhat mellow 
Oh and one more thing.
Using WO3 and 0 mass components is a totally different thing
Why? Well..WO3 can easily be used by -EVERYBODY- but...KSE disks are rare as hell and cost a hell of a lot so only a few people will actually make use of them in that exploit.
So no, WO3 is nothing on using 0 mass parts etc.
To be honest Ostat, Janu is perfectly justified with their arguements. I must admit, I would probably write the same kind of oppinion if it weren't for the fact I knew you ingame and the 'honourable' things you've done.

Ostat's a cheater, an' exploiter and the ONLY damned reason he's stopping is because he's being forced to by SoE. Hell, he wasn't only exploiting an item or two in order to give him a slight 'edge', HE HAD ALMOST A FULL SHIP LOADED OUT WITH EXPLOITED PARTS!!!
Yah, I can see how some of you guys would defend and respect him.
I'm still trying to comprehend the justification behind this...so basically, it's acceptable to use an exploit as long as:
A) You've /bugged and/or notified the devs about it.
B) You're frustrated with and disagree with it.
C) You're bored.
D) You tell other people what you're doing.
That about cover it?
