Yeah, I know that the Falcon is a special case. I'm just saying that its not that implausible to think of POB ships being able to fly fast.

If they scream off and abandon their escort, they get what they deserve. If they use their superior speed to escape while the escort engages the bandits, well, that's what's supposed to happen. That's what setting up a rendezvous is for.

So again we took the YT-1300 up fully loaded with POB parts and two IR2 missile launchers. We headed out to DS to look for some PvP action. Unfortunately DS encounters are random and, at the time we decided to do it, rare. Along came a friendly we know in a B-wing. I figure what the hell is more a test of POB durability than four guns firing on you at once. We initiated a duel then flew head-on toward each other partly so it was guaranteed the YT gunners would be able to target the B-wing. In the end we lost front shields all the front armor and the reactor. The B-wing lost its Shields and engine and was finished off by the two IR2 missiles that had be simultaneously launched prior to the reactor going out.

Again just for fun but thoroughly entertaining. The beauty of it is that we did no need to Eject we just had to walk down with a repair tool and fix the reactor.

just another thing to share with those who haven't had the chance to test these out.
