Lets look at it from this point of view. SOE has stated that when CURB is released you will be able to re-invest your skill points into different proffessions free of XP. Will people complain that will need to get all new weapons?

- All new weapons: 50K
- Cost to get deed of 1 high level ship from chassis dealer AFTER you buy it from SW: 50K
So we are talking about a HUGE difference in cost to the player if a "switch pilot profession" were put in place. This is why I don't think allowing this kinda of change will be a viable one. You are correct there is really no clear cut way to this.
Any Neutral Ground Factioned pilots out there willing to chime in??
PS: Still Stalking Vid it seems lol

Okay forgive me is this was mentioned in here somewhere....it was a lot to read and I may have missed it.
So what happens if I am alligned as a covert Rebel on the ground game, and work my way up the freelance profession that is alligned with the empire? What does something like this mean for me?

Good question, I don't know what would happen to a RSF Rebel.

This question is of great concern to me also. I am Imp on the ground and smugglers alliance in space which I think is reb aligned.
As for the fact off now having faction forced upon us as a pilot I could live with the changes if these conditions were met
1) I suffered no lose of credits (I dont have to buy new ships or I get money for my old ships which covers the cost for new ships)
2) My time is proven to off not been wasted grinding my pilot proff (able to transfer my skill boxws across)
if it is not by my own choice I deserve to be compensated right ? a bit off give and take

Well regarding to what they posted nothing will change to you, cause int eh changes neutral are neutral what part of neutral you are dont matter.
But lets say im wrong, and that your considered neutral (rebel) in space, that would in effect the day the new system kicked in make you a rebel on ground over night. so you mighr be sure to get out of that stormtrooper outfit the day before just to be sure.

Ok, im confused. So to be simple I'll ask what applies to me. What is gonna happen to me if im a Freelance pilot but a Colonel on the ground for the Empire?
Nothing, you will be unchanged.
The change is only for ground Neutrals with Rebel or Imperial Space Faction.
