It really is personnal preference. Also depends on the components you can get ahold of. Also, plan to die alot at first, because PvE and PvP are completly different. So, I would suggest learning to PvP in a replaceable ship. I use a JSF but only because I have an extra. Otherwise I would use the Bel-22 or Heavy Scyk.


BTW Don't use a firespray (it sucks) and if you are a freelancer try to stay away from flying a non multifaction ships in group PvP. Niether Imps nor rebels like to be hit with epulse and will gang up and kill you before you get the opportunity to use it (regardless of wether you plan to or not).
