It tells us likewe never even disabled it, it tells us that we took too long trying to capture it, but we escort it for 45 minutes, through 6-10 waves of valarian bombers, and then it just jumps, and your happy for a sec watching it jump being 400m away, after 45 minutes to see it jump, but then the message comes up that you took to long to capture it.

But I tried after EVERY wave, I tried to shoot it, inspect it, and /dock with it, but it beeps when you shoot it, cause you already captured it, but it thinks you didnt when it jumps out of the system..,,..

Theresno way we cannot be not disabling it, and we are not going out of range, I'm sure like me many have stayed RIGHT on top of the freighter before it jumps, through the whole mission. We have all done escort missions b4. Its definately bugged. I've failed 4 times in a row, each time trying hard to disable after the first disabling, and never straying more than 1200m away from. No matter what you do, you loose and cannot advance.discouraging to comeso far and then,just... ..stop.,.

Why dont they make this mission bypassible.

I have completed that mission even in super quick time got the freight in like first ship hypered to tatt destroyed all the ships with like 5 of my mates all masters , so in about 30 seconds they were all dead, then hypered to endor captured freighter escorted it absolutly Annihilatedany thing that came within range almost instantly and still freighter warped saying i took too long.

I thought I would add, that I did not go out of range. I had my ship on /follow between waves of valarians, and my ship was on /follow when the freighter hyperspaced. I was on it's tail literally the whole time, and there was no combar occurring when the ship left, as some other threads have suggested.

Sorry for the repeated postings, but I thought you should know your CSR's did a bang up job of NOT answering my question correctly. Their answer suggested they were both unfamiliar with the mission and that they didn't even read my ticket thoroughly.

My first trainer was on Tatooine
My current trainer is on Dathomir, named "Nirame"
This mission comes up after completing the third box on tier 4.
It starts out at Dantooine, with a frieghter disable & inspect. Then it moves to Tatooine to take on waves on Valarians, and then finally to Endor to capture & escort the Frieghter. Needless to say after wiping out that many ships, it really stinks to be robbed at the end.

This is the same thing happening to me same mission as well. I'm on Flurry and I'm 4-4-3-4 instead of

4-4-4-3.

Bump.

and another one:
privateer smuggler alliance
tier 4, trainer on dathomir
mission after filling 3rd box

-get plans at dantooine (every once in a while none of the ships has them and it takes forever for new ships to spawn which often also dont have the plans)
-take out bomber and escort at tatooine
-capture freighter

mission objectives are NOT updated after the capture (checked the journal a million times, if getting an update requires some silly clickfest like with component stats that might be the reason). freighter cant be shot at from then on, behaves "normal" (as a good little hijacked ship is supposed to), finally hypers out and mission failed, took too long.
