You are correct here, I am on my 6th Ace now and made sure I did one from each faction to start with - got a 1x bonus afterCrimson Pheonix, another 1x bonus after Inquisition and finally another 1x bonus after RSF - no additional bonuses since and for each of the subsequent Ace badges I get a total of 3x bonus XP. This means that for a Tier 3 bomber worth 1665 XP I get an additional Master bonus of 4995 XP (which makes me very happy every time I see it). So it is a bonus for each Faction you have completed.
BTW - I'm doing Storm Squadron next (on 4/4/3/3Black Epsilon now) and reading through the forum I'm not looking forward to it - I like doing the vette in a group for fun (though I've solo'd it every time it's been my mission) - but the grind up to the vette I like being able to solo, I hope I can do this with SS

You should be ok on SS with the exception of one of the T3 missions in Endor space that ends up by the T4death watchspawns. Might be just too many ships if ya get unlucky. If you get lucjy someone might be farming it...
Just be prepared for some long long missions.

Oh, and I finished my last squadron last night (along with my partner Zaxen)...I've got all nine badges now.
Though Zaxen had the best point...we were standing in the Rori Rebel Outpost and he looks at me and says..."Now what?"
But I wish there was a "perk" for acing multiple times. Like being able to use one ship from the previous faction, but not the ace-level ships. For example, after acing Smuggler's Alliance, I could join up with the Rebel Alliance and use the tier IV ship from Privateer when I get to tier IV with the Rebellion. However, we could only be able to use one ship from the previous faction, and if we wanted to use another we'd have to redeed the first.
