Hey now, don't go insulting the B-Wing, if you can actually learn how to fly it well its easilya very good ship. I use mine almost exclusively, and I can take down anything that I feel the need to, be it a corvette or a squadron of tier 5 TIEs. Aggressors, Interceptors, Advanced.... all tasty treats for my B-Wing.

2x 3.6k guns, 2x 2.8k guns, pre-nerf reward engine, RE'd reward shields. Run all the overload programs level 3.

I always have been one to fly the heavier ships, I'm good for a challenge of learning how to use my ships well. Its all in learning what speed you need to fly, how soon you need to center your stick during a turn (big one for the B-Wing, gotta learn or else you'll overshoot your turn), where to shoot your weapons, and the little qwerks of the ship.

Not to talk smack or anything, but last night some guy came after me in Deep Space and he was flying a BWing. I was in my Royal Guard TIE. Besides the fact that it probably wasn't a good idea on his part... it is a nice ship IMHO.

Not sure about all the stats as I've never been a Rebel Pilot. But, it was a lot of fun.

First off, he was in a BWing so I wasn't exactly scared. I pulled around onto his six and just followed him through manuevors for about 5 minutes never firing a shot. He knew what he was doing, definately knew how to turn that ship. I didn't want to end the engagement in 5 seconds or anything so I let him fly around a bit. Once in awhile I'd see the pretty glowing countermeasures come out of his back end.

Eventually though, I had to take him out becuase on his first pass he dented my shields. 1 shot to the reactor and he ejected shortly after. Not sure who it was but /salute to him/her for even trying to engage me. Personally, if I was a Rebel I'd fly a BWing just because ever since I was a kid they were my favorite ship (well.. 2nd favorite with TIE Intercepter at #1)
