Ok, to sum up, can anyone kindly explain the goodness about these ships:

ARC 170 - I heard this one a good ship for doing mission but not for pvp.

Vaksai - One of the best fighter for all purposes

Belbullab - Great ship for overall performance

So which one is the best as in overall aspects? Thank you in advanced.

What do you mean by "hitting small box"? Oh I left out another ship, Jedi Interceptor. Is it good ship too? But I heard it only has about 90k of mass.

The "small hitbox" I'm talking about is the size of the target a pilot has to aim at.

Think of it this way, if you were a target in space, would you want to be flying a barn?

Just kidding.

The Jedi starfighter has quite a small profile, but yes 90k mass. Not an issue if you know what you are doing when it comes to looting and reengineering.

The JSF is quite a nice little ship and extrememly PVP friendly, but I'll still take my Vaksai

Damn, I forgot to ask this, how can I get Vaksai? From which mission? Can someone provide an url for the quest guide? Thank you.

Conveniently omitting your test flight eh?

lol... everytime I mention my vaksai you have to bring that up. For anyone that doesn't know yet.

PSIKOBUNNY KILLED ME IN DS WHILE WE WERE BOTH FLYING VAKSAI'S

there is a big difference in ship performance and pilot stupidity (not the good kind of stupidity like Repax describes in his KISS guide)

lol.. when did this happen, Pace?

Unlike the JSF and ARC, the mission is not required, just as long as you are 4xxx privateer you can use it. If you see one for sale buy it.

I absolutely LOVE my Vaksai. I'd been using a tanked-out Rihkxyrk since I got the certification, all the way through and past Master... but since I got the Vaksai, I took the old ship apart and deeded it.

I must say it provides me an incentive to reverse engineer some really good components - I have a very nice RE gun and an RE shield that protects for about 2555 on each side, and of course the engine.

I totally agree, I am seriously thinking about making it my ship of choice... though I love my Krayt Gunship and don't want to part with it.

The only other ship I love this much is the "Tiberium Sun", my YT-1300. Screeshots in my sig.

i love my Vaksai, its my most prized chassis i own (i own all the freelance ships save for the ARC which im working on now). with my engine/booster and EO4 i consistantly hit 2166 top speed. i had a friend fire 6 fake missile launches at me in his oppressor, i evaded 3 and flat outran 2 of the missiles (the last one got me barely). once you really get a feel for the vaksai its a smooth ride

I was making a quick pass through DS after a Duty mission, so I did a quick patrol. I saw a krayt shooting at NPCs, so I sent it home, and Pace kinda sorta tried to sneak up on me a teensy bit. That's ok, since I had just got done sneaking up on said Krayt. It wasn't a big deal really, I totally understand taking a ship up for a spin and getting in an unplanned fight, but the post made me wonder when do things begin to "count" (and its kinda fun to razz Pace about it since we're both Vaksai fans. It was a nice clean fight, and Pace is actually the first person from forums I've met on Starsider and fought. Saw you once Tomo, but you were on the ground and I was on my alt.

I count all my deaths, and only some of my kills.

I don't count anything. The numbers aren't as important to me as the pilots.
