I'm still fairly new to the Pilot scene, and am still learning all the ins and outs. I keep hearing about Prestige Points, but I went looking through my UIs last night trying to figure out how many I had, and couldn't find it.
Where do you look to see how many you have, and.. are they good for anything?

Once you get Ace, you no longer get Starship XP, you get ____ Prestige Points. The ____ should obviously be Rebel, Imperial, or zip in the case of Freelancers, who just get Prestige Points.
So far, their only use is to get into Deep Space.
Soo...that's it. lol

it costs 30k pretige points everytime u want to enter deep space.
you get pretige points the same way as experience. 1600 exp = 1600 prestige.
very pointless for now.
i take that back.
You earn prestige points so you can't cap your experience then surrender pilot and start grinded another tree, then use the experience to train.
Even tho this will only get you like.. 2 boxes before u have to take a mission and kill something.. who knows..

Actually, you lose stored XP as well as prestige when you drop your profession. Which is why I am going to prove my eternal hatred for myself by grinding out the 7.5 million XP to cap "Space Combat Experience" before doing the last two missions to get my 9th Ace badge.

It shouldn't be so bad with the master bonus you'll have by that stage, it'll be like doing the T4 grind.... Twice
