Here's what I saw:
He's ready to give up in spite of solutions offered. "Then I guess I'm done" isn't pity me?
He wants us to believe that he can't possibly make his ship fast enough to complete delivery missions without fighting everything along the way.
He hasn't even begun to use flight computers or droid commands and he's Tier 3! And he'd like us to believe that the reason why is not because he doesn't know or doesn't want to, but that somehow he's been desperately looking a for one from the beginning and can't find one because of the dearth of DEs on Flurry.
All BS, plain and simple. The guy wants to be able to learn Tier 3 skills from a player because he can't actually hack the Tier 3 missions. No, I'm not nice to people like that - nor do I see a need to encourage such behavior. This mentality of "blame everyone else, never accept any responsibility for one's own shortcomings or mistakes" is pervasive in our society and the result is that decent people have to take too much crap from stupid people who are the cause of their own problems.

You complained, help was offered, you continued to make excuses - you didn't want help, you wanted people to make you feel good about yourself, to tell you it wasn't your fault, whatever.
It's not "imagined" elitism. It's a simple fact that, by your own admission, you seem incapable of accomplishing what others have done - and you're ready to throw in the towel because of it. If that's how you approach a game, you're in for a lot of other diappointments in life.
You might want to learn to be humble when accepting criticism that you asked for - because you sure have nothing to be proud of when you make excuses about it.
dude you're the onlybumpkin trying to act superior here. you might wanna check yourself before trying to jump just anyone. i did not come here for pity and saying i'm done was meant that i cannot be bothered with anymore frustration. simple as that so reading any more into it is your own deal. frankly w-t-f do you care wether i do it or not? it certainly should be of no concern to you either way and your tone is completely uncalled for. who might you be any way? oh some jerk playing a game who likes to talk big on a public message board. that's what i thought. your help specifically was not needed since it's no help at all.

Someone who got over it instead of throwing in the towel like you did. Why should I care? Well, you tell me - you're the one who created the thread. If you don't want the opinions of others, don't solicit them. If I'm a "jerk" for giving you a wake up call, what's that make someone who gives up when a game gets a little difficult? What would you call someone who counters every solution with an excuse? You can try to talk down to me if that's what you need to feel better about yourself, Mister "I quit pilot because Tier 3 was too tough for me"...
