Epulse 3 is such a shadow of its former self it is retarded. Don't even bother.

Yeah, too bad the devs stated a long time ago, atmospheric flight would NEVER happen. They dont want ppl straffing the city streets

This is actually reasonable ... you don't need to be in the air to act as FAC.

Well, I've always been in favor of allowing shipwrights to strap on durasteel when on ground. As for the Kashyyk jedi.........if only they allowed us to kill by running people over with vehicles, I'd pick'em off one by one with my A-wing. Either that or let's see how fast they can saber block a nut-bolt cannon with .250 refire.

There is a problem, though. I get the impression that'd be doing damage more to Electronics than to people, so it'd have to damage weapons, equipment, droids, etc.; without doing any health damage to the target. I suppose if the target's gun exploded due to a ground Epulse, there'd have to be damage, but it'd have to result from the reaction of the target's equipment.

True, /epulse3 mainly damage electronics, but the focus of electromagnetic pulsing is to disrupt lines of electromagnetic flux. While the human body is mostly able to avoid the effects (and that saber most definately is gonna blow), the ground will not. Planets emit gravitational and electromagnetic lines in great amounts.

So, when a few ships decide to get together and emit /epulse3 around or near a jedi or anyone for that matter, any functioning electronics are going up AND the surrounding land masses will have disruption, earth quakes, tidal waves, etc etc.

So, go ahead, deflect a spacebomb at me, those I can outrun. I'll just get far enough away and unleash an earthquake and swallow up the entire town.

That being said, no, I really don't think they will give us this

Of course. I forsee many wonderful days of leisurely cruising over the planets of Bloodfin, slowly turning every square inch of planet surface into glass with the combined fire power of our fleets.
