There is a problem, though. I get the impression that'd be doing damage more to Electronics than to people, so it'd have to damage weapons, equipment, droids, etc.; without doing any health damage to the target. I suppose if the target's gun exploded due to a ground Epulse, there'd have to be damage, but it'd have to result from the reaction of the target's equipment.
If someone blows up your flame thrower while you're holding it... yer gonna have a baaad day. And everyone is gonna wonder what the burning smell is.
Damaging the Weapon will do fine!.. Just imagine.. zillions of jedi.. and suddenly.. all the glow dildos explode.. Man.. i wanna see it.. what wouldnt i give to see or even recieve the hate tells.

Haha, keep wishing brother Pilots. Because we all know if they let us do any of the things you guys mentioned to Jedi, you would promptly see: LeeTJeDi McGrIeFagE reflects your Spacebomb back at you, somehow manipulating the force to guide it through a crack in your engine for 56,341,672,657 points of damage!

even using a turret gun there'd be a big KABOOM. think about it.
lots and lots of energy...+ water in the body = Flashboiled to steam.
