It is good to see so many replies.
I just remembered anothe rof my favourite moments and that was the first time I got in a twenty many group to do someone's tier 4 missions and Ace missions. It was a long time ago, just after I got my first ace and I don't know why but I'm sure on each mission the spawns that were hurled at us were insane. There were either too many to count or I was so green at the time that it just felt that way, but regardless, just the fact of flying with other people was so cool and still is. It was probably due to the fact that none of us were using droid commands and everything we were using was terrible, if not completely laughable like some of us had lvl 4 engines still. Good times, real good times.

I am reminded of this by Halyn who was using a different toon last night and how he was saying that without all the droid commands etc, pve can be actually rather challenging. It is also a reason why people shouldn't leap upon new pilots who know very little like a pack of wolves because when you do start your pilot career from nothing, it is very daunting.

I have a couple of best moment:

Taking out the Kashyyyk Vette for the heavy x the first time. I was litterally blown to pieces at the moment I got the badge and mission completed message (made me glowy too btw).

Taking out the ISD for the first time, just gazing at the design, all the lasers firing at you, all the TIE's coming after you. And then still survive it in my B-22 (these ISD gunners must be REALLY blind hehe)

First time I was on a Yacht with someone

First time I fired up and walked around in my Nova Courier. I still think these POB's are awesome, and am really looking forward to Pub 24.

First time we actually flew with our guild squadron, with similar name tags, and IC chatter

etc etc. It's just awesome

• My first flight in an X-wing, awesome.

• My first tour of my own YT-1300 and sitting in that cockpit and dorsal quad turret. I can't wait to get into Pub 24 and have some awesome POB components put in it.

• Soloing the Vaksai vette. I was so amped I got restocked on torps and went and did the Xwing one as well, even tho it was about 3am

• Helping my guildmates take out vettes. I spent 2 hours in Kessel blasting stuff acting as lookout. As soon as the vette spawned I sent out word and the scrambling of pilots to get up and take it on was a joy.

• The first time I managed to take out a t5 gunboat after great advice from this community - I used to run screaming at the site of them.

And finally:

• Deciding to try for all 9 aces. It's given me a new lease of life in game - I changed my toon to a Master SW as well, and I'm currently about to start squad 4.

Space is for me far and away the best part of this game as it stands. I haven't fired a shot on the ground in about a month...

Like most people, my first vetter was awesome... I had read up here about the various tactics and advice, and set off to knock it out of the sky Surprisingly, this I managed to do, solo!

Also, finishing almost all of my first squadron (Smuggler's Alliance) without droid commands! Yes, it was challenging, but still fun Now I know all about droid commands, so it's not as hard... Sometimes I go flying without droid commands just for a change

The first time I did the corvette as part of a group was great too... Living in Australia and playing on a server with a low pilot population, my main playing time doesn't usually cause me to cross paths with too many pilots, but I happened to be playing during the day on a saturday, which coincides with friday night in the states, and went to Kessel to do my master mission on my 4th squadron. I was surprised to see a group there waiting for it, so I joined up, and helped blow it up Had the whole thing done in about 5 minutes, and all without missiles
