Yeah, but theanswer has been edited out too? What was the final word on finding out your best turning speed? I'm just guessing that that's what the spat was about.

So best turning speed is chassis/engine specific and you should jsut test to see which wirks best for your combo? And when I find the best speed, I can make a macro for /throttle .1234 to hit when I need to make a turn? And if so could this type macro be useful since the turning time should be the same each time?

/throttle .1234

/pause X;

/throttle X (Back to fighting speed)

and a pack of 15 mark 3 proton missiles will make short work of any corvette. just take out gun 5, and then stay under the corvette and fire missiles at targetted components

Regarding outmaneuvering a missile. I tend to fly in a spiral, either inside or outside when I know there's a missile incoming.

One time, by pure luck, I rolled just as the missile should have hit, but it streaked past. I saw it pass me and disappear in front. So either my roll fooled it, or I just got lucky and it switched to a target in front of me.

And during PvE tier 4 missions, if you haven't upgraded to a T4 chassis and shields, one missile hit can take over half of one of your shields. This is so annoying that I now target Rihkxyk's before X-wings, even though they take longer to kill. If I ignore the Rihk, he'll set up a missile shot and here I go running away to recharge shields.
