Tier 5 Black Sun Aces are a rare spawn in Kessel. At least that is the only place that I have seen them.

I've seen two separate threads where people claim to have looted the helmet from tier 4 black sun "fighters", not aces, out of Endor. I've also seen plenty of people saying they've killed 1000's of black sun out of Endor w/o a single drop, and this is closer to my experience. I personally have never seen a black sun spawn in Kessel, but I may put a little more effort in to finding one now.

Can anyone give me a relative location of the Black Suns in Endor? I've gone to every POI and tried exploring most of it alone without finding a single one.

Go to the first hyperpoint in Endor. Black Suns will be about 2500m directly ahead of you. They spawn in packs of 3 every 2-3 minutes.

Endor Black Sun Fighters and Black Sun Marauders seem to not wanna drop the helmets, at all, i spent the day killing them, and only them all over endor, amassed over 1million XP, got nothing but credits, components, and a sore wrist.

The dev notes referred to *Black Sun aces.* I dont think I've ever seen an ace, and certainly not around Endor. I spent a little time whacking regular BS in Endor, with no success, as did at least one other person - and they spent hours at it. No helmet for them either.
Im told BS appear in Kessel and, given everything there is Tier 5, have to figure that's the most likely spot to score a helmet. It also figures, I suppose, that an Ace would be Tier 5. Unfortunately Ive no idea whereabouts in Kessel the BS pop up. I scoured probably 65-75% of the system, flying around, perpetually scanning. I'm told they DO spawn there, so if anyone knows where PLEASE provide coordinates.
And someone else mentioned that a Tier 4 in Dant dropped a helmet for him. Maybe all BS have a chance of dropping, and the likelihood is dependent on level. (shrug)
All I know is: I'd rather be hunting them in Kessel.

the emporer awarded me a slave girl when i achieved jedi status and i turned her into a shipwright and let her infiltrate the rebellion. last nite i can confirm that she got a blacksun firghter ace helmet off of a blacksun tier4 fighter doing the duty mission from the trainer in nym's hotel. the novice pilot trainer is the rebel one in tyrena. got it after killing about 700kXP worth of black sun tier four duty mission spawns. which at their xp of about 3500 is 200 blacksun fighters.
although it also could have been off the "ace" they send in bombers in between wave difficulty changes. on that i am not really sure. i wasnt really paying attention during the fights and only checking my inventory every so often but it definately was off the tier4 duty mission.

Does anyone have a wp for the Black Sun in Kessel. Im searching the eight corners of the system and coming up with zip.
