Can anyone confirm a couple of questions about RSF Pilots?
1) Do the RSF missions allow you entry into the Emperor's Retreat? - YES I'm Rebel and did RSF mission and ran around the retreat slapping Vadar
2) Post bug-fix, can RSF pilots still assist Rebel Pilots in attacking Imperials if they are grouped and doing a mission, or was that part of the bug? - I cannot attack Imperials unless it is in Deep Space

I guess I don't understand your exact problem.
Neutral Pilots all enter Deep Space and Kessel in one place, Last Nav Station in Dathomir.
Neutral pilots can choose a side when they go, no matter who they fly for (This is one of the times RSF can blow up Imperials)
Neutral Pilots will be on that side, in Deep Space, and in Kessel until they redeed the ship they took.
I am not sure what happens if you pick the opposite side on your next trip.

CorSec & SA, not Overt, ground faction irrelevant: Shoot anything in Kessel, and NPCs only agro when you hit them. This includes both Corvette convoys. The NPC Pirates will always be hostiles in Kessel. Enter through Dath Station.
RSF, not Overt, ground faction irrelevant: Only able to shoot Rebels in Kessel. Imperials show up as White Dots, Rebels as Red ones. Enter through Dath Station.
SA & CorSec Overt Rebels in Kessel: PvP enabled against Imp Overt Players, Rebels are White dots, Imps are Red ones. Enter through Dantooine Rebel Deep Space Station after declaring.
RSF Overt Rebel in Kessel: Overt Rebel overrides the base RSF system and Imperial dots are now the Red ones, Rebel dots are White. PvP enabled against Imp Overts. Enter through Dantooine Rebel Deep Space Station ater declaring.
SA, CorSec, and RSF Overt Imperials in Kessel: PvP against Rebel Overts, Imp dots are White, Rebels dots are Red. Enter through Endor Imperial Claw Station after declaring.
SA, CorSec, RSF, no ground faction: Can enter Deep Space for either side. No FP will be earned.
SA, CorSec, RSF ground Rebels: Can enter Deep Space only as Rebels. Can not enter while Overt, no FP will be earned. Enter through Dath Station.
SA, CorSec, RSF ground Imperials: Can enter Deep Space only as Imperials. Can not enter while Overt, no FP will be earned. Enter through Dath Station.
Overt/Deep Space status: Freelancers typically enter Kessel/DS through the Dath Station. When Overt, they enter Kessel through their respective Faction Kessel/Deep Space Stations, but can not enter Deep Space after declaring Overt for either Faction.
Deep-Space-perma-Overt-Kessel bug: When entering Deep Space, a Freelance ship seems to pick up a flag marking it as a member of the Faction chosen. After leaving Deep Space, the flag seems to be applied whenever that pilot in that ship goes to Kessel. The result is that, instead of the situations where Freelancers are able to attack anything, they are instead treated (for PvE purposes) as a member of the Faction chosen during the DS trip and will only be able to attack opposite Faction NPCs. The dots will be Red and White instead of Yellow. The only known fix is to unload and deed the ship and the problem will be fixed until the next trip to Deep Space in that ship.
If I made a mistake, please let me know what it was as specifically as possible.

First sentence incorrect. RSF no ground faction can choose a side at will. They will be bugged in Kessel in that ship thereafter, until it is redeeded. (did this yesterday)
