Well, guys. To paraphrase the bards, "It's time to pass the torch; I'm too old to rock, no more rocking for me. I'm taking myself to a home, but I hope you'll sing a song about me."
I'm retiring. There's a number of reasons, but the only important one is I don't have time anymore, for the game or even for the forums. Not as much as you deserve in a correspondent, anyway. This community's large in number and peerless in spirit, and it needs someone who can devote much more time to it than I can these days.
I have to say, being you all's correspondent has been my single most rewarding experience with SWG. The pilot community is endlessly helpful, funny, and thoughtful. That made it both very easy for me to do my job and very hard to leave.
But it's time. There are any number of people here who would do a great job with the spot, and I encourage anyone interested to apply. There are times it's a frustrating job, but with this community, it's always worth it.
Good luck, everyone. It's been a pleasure.
Congrats on a job well done. I see more and more players out there just not finding time for SWG. I find myself _looking_ for reasons to play and Pilot is one of them. If there wasn't JTL I'd probably have quit a long time ago. GL

Goodbye Tomo.
You did the job far better than anyone could have hoped for.
Best of luck in the future, and don't forget to sedate Leaph before you leave

Unfortunately, the community doesn't nominate a corr, SOE selects one from those who apply. On the plus side, I think they've done a good job on selecting Pilot Corrs so far.
So now we get to nominate people for corr, correct?

One unqualifiedly positive thing about SOE is they generally do a very wise job choosing corrs. I've been really impressed by some of the people they've brought in during my term, and I trust they'll leave you guys in good hands.
And thanks, guys. I mean it.

i nominate a new correspondent, halyn, whos with me?
And BTW, nice job Tomo, you'll always be missed.
Tomo's done an amazing job but don't know if halyn would do a good job unless he wants it.
If he does want it he'd be a great choice though just you need someone who really wants it and has the time to dedicate to it.
I'd almost put my name in if I had the time to do anything beside's the little I play and troll on break at work

Um... yes, I'm aware of that. It seems to be a tradition, though, for the community to nominate corrs when an old one leaves.
