ahh ok, i was thinking kessel was pvp like like deepspace, then yeah they was asking for it. kinda dumb for some one to go pvp then send hate tells when when they get killed. always disliked people like that or even worse the ones who make excuses

yup, and most dont get that there is 100s more things to blow up in Ds plus with no damage to your components when you die it is faction farm city!

There's very little balanced about bstrike. When a special can complete missions for you while you sit there, there's something wrong.

i think you misunderstood my post i wasn't crying and yes i am a noob so what. i guess you you started playing the game and was just uber from the start, didn't even after to grind ace, you just logged in and bam master pilot and probably from you comment master jedi.

i was unaware the you wasn't pvp in kessel, and yes i agree it would be stuiped of someone to do the vett mission while in pvp. also props to the guys that talked maturely after being defeated. trust me i know how annoying it is killing someone and getting spamed to death with hate tells. anyways think before you speak next time : )

I've got the makings of a murderous level 10 engine that I want to slip in my heavy X-Wing at some point. With just the pieces I have now, I'm looking at low 80s YPR, with just over 100 speed on RE.
I WILL MAKE THAT THING FIT!!!
A-Wings are nice, but it ain't Star Wars till someone barks "Lock S-foils in attack position" when diving on a group of JSF poons.

When flying with my crew (We all communicate with Voice Chat Software), I make it a point to mention, locking S-Foils in attack position, before starting a run.

Not if an enemy rebel (like me) comes through and kills your Bstrike hehe!

My mistake then. Kessel hasn't been full PvP in ages. My response was directed to the idea I thought you were supporting that people waiting to do their Master Mission were somehow sacred when attackable.

Even when we did master missions way the hell back when Kessel was a hot zone, if you were there on your master mission, you had your buddies cover your ass to keep you alive till you made it. That's what I REALLY miss about the old days. With full PvP relegated to master only optional zones orvoluntarydeclaration, that kind of tight comraderie that had full groups of 20 escorting a group ofbrevet masters out into Kessel for their baptism by fire was lost.

I regret I wasn't able to do my master mission before the change (missed it by two days), but I flew half a dozen times against the Kessel 'vette with my ass on the line for friends, and it was awesome, even when we were challenged.

lol nah i wasn't whineing over pvp, i'm all for that hehe. i myself misunderstood the orginal post which was why i made my comment, hehe i haven't had much sleep so my brain isn't functioning to well. yeah i think it would be cool to do the vett while haveing to look over your shoulder, which is why i'm busting my chops to get my prestige to enter DS to grind some fp and hopefully run into some pvp action, i'm curious how my skills and ship stack up to some of the other players. plus pvp is excently training, you learn pretty quick what to do and what not to do hehe

Do you get XP/loot from Bstrikes?

XP, no loot that I've ever gotten, and they're yellow to me, so no FP, even when overt.

You've not raised an Imperial pilot have you?

A bomberstrike will be dead and wasted in less than a minute if there are enemy fighter NPCs around. It's not exactly resilient. And on its best day, it won't complete a mission for you.

The last four times I went and beat up the vette w/ its accompanying escort, I used one b-strike each time. Each time it was done targeting gun 5 for obvious reasons (though for some reason they'll still only hit whatever gun component they want to most of the time). One time out of the four, the Bstrike had blown up gun 5 by the time I finished off the fighter screen. The other three times it never destroyed any one single component, but did do some damage to several guns, but not all.

Maybe my own bstrike is bugged from the instant-win that you seem to think it is? If so, I need a CSR to come fix it.

I'd be happy if my BStrike would launch more often than 1 in 4 times I try it.

Heh, it gets better with Bstrike 2 then Bstrike 3.

But yeah, it does suck when it decides to bork out on you.

And to the rather uninformed poster that made the prior bstrike comment about doing missions for you - here's a bit of additional info. More often than not, the Bstrike is useless compared to /eweap. Only when outnumbered by heavy hitters (like the vette mission) does Bstrike become the more viable option. And that's pretty much for the sake of drawing fire away while you run in pumping damage at stuff. Any damage the Bstrike does manage to do is sheer bonus.

Think of it as a DOT. It doesn't hit hard, and what damge it does manage to do takes quite a while. Rather than sitting back, you could let Bstrike draw fire away from you, and do much more damage in two passes at your target with just blasters.
