I had thought about Starsider and even considered moving over there as my main character. but do I really want to give up my prenerf equipment. Then loot and by equipment to fight my way to deepspace only to be facing the Pilots that started out there. The reason that I originally thought of a low population server is to even the field, pick somewhere that everyone got equal bashing from the Dev's l.a.r.t. of choice of choice the "nerf bat".

I like the idea. I disagree with the person who asserted you need a ground game to pay for a Pilot though. There are plenty of ways to start a pilot cold and make your first millionwithin just a day or two in space. In fact Iuse space to pay for a couple characters on different servers already.

well i made my character on starsider after the nerf happened when i looked at their forums and saw the big battles happening, and im doing just fine with the slower engine. in fact there is a slight advantage in having a slower engine, since it reduces your turning radius. other than the engine the only other pre nerf thing you could want is a droid interface, and those are everywhere.
