The missions where you are supposed to handle the new Ghrag recruits (from the rebel outpost and presumably the imp and kashyyyk station) will all spawn the tier 5 gunboats. Sometimes I've seen them throwing the gunboats in as random fodder in non-commander wings.

The missions for Sordaan and Tripp will spawn tier 5 novas, which also launch torps, but with two guns apiece they aren't quite as nasty as the gunboat spawns. Fighting five of those at once leads to long jousting battles and a strong chance of armor damage.

Didnt know what I was getting into. Got past the second wave solo and had to go help guild mates at the trail.

Lured the whole mass of spawns to the space station by accident when I went to get armor repaired. The dogfight then commenced around the station and killed everything, for that I felt bad, poor people trying to land.

Wow. I am gonna do it again and again if I can,Had a blast, even though I got some reallly craptastic component loot from them.

Ran out of missles and countermeasures long before the whole thing was over, thank god for Capacitor to Shield Shunt 3 and a super fast droid comp.

well the tier 5 gotal gunboat was fun to solo i think. and im glad they upped the speed COS i think they where just to easy.

i wanna see more gunboats that move instead of ones that just drift
