While we're on the subject, what are the stats of the JSF?

The Republic *split* to become both the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance... Arms companies either remained loyal, defected, or sold to both sides... Anyone is just as likely to be able to claim a generic heritage to the JSF. However, *spoiler*

The one you get in the quest is Vader's personal fighter, soit makes sense that it is only open to Imperials to quest for.

NO! The Republic did not spilt and beome the Empire and the Rebel Alliance. That's got to be the most twisted thing I have read in a while. There was no rebellion till years after the Empire rose from the ashes of the Republic. True, the Rebellion was made of planets that split off from the Empire, but they did no such thng from the Republic. The Seperatists and the Rebellion are 2 different things.
