Thread: Handy chunks of asteroid goodness... and Outpost Listings!

What happens when the mother 'roid blows up?
Not too much really. I guess I was expecting a deathstar-like explosion. They go poof with a diminuative little bang and a new one spawns a few meters away.
FYI: The iron asteroids in the Tatooine system have a very short lifespan. The one I was mining on last night had a 3700 or so "health" when I examined it. I actually had to blow the thing up twice just to fill my 1550 large fighter cargo bay. It made mining the iron even more tedious than usual. Firing on the big 'roid waiting for it to blow is almost as interesting as watching paint dry.

I feel like a complete idiot, but how on earth do you empty your cargo hold exactly? Tried looking on the Ship Management screen, can't see anything there. Tried unloading the hold and trying to do it that way, nothing. Tried talking to the regular space stations, nothing.....
When your back on ground, open up your datapad and click on your ship. You should get an option to view the contents in your cargo, and an option to unload your cargo on the radial buttons.
oh, and i found the info very interesting and usefull. I didn't know some of that stuff. thank you. ![]()
Ah, didn't even occur to me to look in the data pad, thanks a lot.
Don't understand why they didn't just add an "Empty" option when you use the ship management terminal though, would have been a lot more logical IMO.
Updated.
Added listing of price per unit at each station.
Added station location and names.

Those are used by shipwrights to make the texture kits for the new ships.
...even if I think I'll keep selling mined resources to somebody I know who's paying 30 CPU for 'em on the ground
