Non-pilots can use the comm seat, I tried this on my YT-1300 with my alt.

It is perfectly logical since the ops chair person uses Pilot commands which are faction-specific.

I am a freelancer and I can use the Ops Chair on a Nova. Then again at one time I was also a Rebel Ace so that might have something to so with it. Also does anyone else feel really ripped off on the yt-1300. It is tiny inside compared to the other ones and it only has room for TWO missile launchers instead of three like the others.

I actually like that, because it's much easier to decorate, considering the item limit. (although there's still only space for around 5 loot items left in mine)

That's actually kind of cool though. as long as you leave SOME room for looted items. You have to get out and get them at some point. Makes it interesting. You can actually theoretically hold a lot more looted items before going back, depending on how many people you have aboard.

The decimator is a box with 2 levels, the Nova is a whale that is poorly laid out. The YT-1300 is brilliant. As far as the ordnance... I haven't fired a missile from it in weeks.

Yeah, but they have to have JtLS to be able to get *on* a POB ship. Sorta like wasted money to get JtLS and not be a pilot.

I think allowing non-freelance pilots sit in the ops chair and use their own commands is perfectly fine. What's the difference if your copilot calls their /bomberstrike3 from the ops chair vs. from their own ship?

The panels disapeared form my friends YT-1300 for about a day or two. My gues sis they were wroking out the plasma alarm bug and needed to remove teh panels. When the panels were back on the ship abotu a day or two the plasma alarm bug was fixed. SO my guess is they did that on purpose. The panels ar e back on our ship though.
