my panels disappear from time to time.I don't know why..they just do

Does anyone have an engine access pannel on their YT? I found out that I don't. I brought two friends up in my ship so they could see it and they pointed out that I didn't have one. I don't know if I ever did. I later went up in their Nova, and they had one. Am I alone or is this another missing component in a YT issue?

I'll check mine out today and let you know. If its not there i just got my yt-1300 like 2 days ago, haven't really flown it in combat yet, the fact that only a privateer can sit in the ops chair disturbs me.

It should be there somewhere (dont remember off hand) but look around, if not then this is a bug on your ship IMHO

This is the first I have heard that only like-factioned pilots to the ship owner can sit in ops chair.

This is so you don't end up with people in Nova Couriers using /bomberstrike3 on Imperials and such.

They can still gun for you, just not do the operations station.
As for the engine panel, it's in the second hold if you turn left from the cockpit, against the left hand (outer) wall.
Never has disappeared on me. Even after the ship got destroyed.
And I don't have the plasma bug.

They have been disappearing randomly since launch on all 3 FOBs, but nobody can figure out how or why to reproduce it - so it's a bug we're stuck with until we can reproduce it reliably.
Once we can identify how to do it, within 2-3 months they will acknowledge it and promise a fix within a year.
Your only option is to redeed.

never had any panels disappear on me but I understand that redeeding is not the only way to fix the bugs with the ships. For the plasma leak /alarm bug just land and /logout; come back 10 minutes later (or login/out with an alt to clear your character) and then it will reset your ship.
