Thread: anyone seen a reactor with over 23k gen rate?

45.7k, 28k mass (this was before I got into knowing what I should PROPERLY look for).
I'm preparing to get a better one, though - just looted a 17.9k L7 tonight, and have snagged a 24 and 26k L8 and DXR-6 L6/RE8, respectively.

That you should look elsewhere for your power needs 
These specific level 7 and 8 ones seem to just have an enormous variance. Some of them are 30-45K energy, some are around 20K, some are 3K, some 0. I kinda think it was intentional, a piece of crazy loot that could be totally worthless or a complete gem, while their 10K+ post-RE mass at level 7 and 20K+ at level 8 prevents them from being completely and utterly out of line.

They really aren't bad, even if they don't have low mass. You need 8 level 8 reactors to RE something. Reactors only have four stats. That leaves a lot of room for useless "filler" parts. Nothing says "filler" like a Reactor with no power.
