Thread: With all the bugs we have, they FIX taking wounds in space!
Acutally, so long as "deep space repair" exists, there is now, no penatly to dying in space, what so ever.
I gotta admit, this is the first MMO ive seen with a 100% abscense of a death penatly.
Noobs go crazy, today is your day and the profit has come!

maybe this could help get more people into PvP
On your server maybe. On bria? buahahahahahhahahahah
Yeah right. One reason i shouldn't leave bria. The Empire there has very few pilots with any talent. Most of the pilot talent is rebel, and the empire just gets owned. Its sad. Imps have never really taken a serious intrest in space.. sooooo..... no.. wont help pvp on my server.. maybe yours though
Getting wounds healed is easy, all you have to do is finda jedi, a pretty easy task these days. I had over 1000 wounds healed in three seconds by someone with a jedi padawan tag up (who knows if they were...but still).
I'm happy there is no penalty now. There is no penalty to PvP on the ground (as long as you clone), so why should there be in space?
You are all mistaking this for a "Space Fix", it is not.
It is one of the final nails in the Doc prof coffin.

Um, I happen to believe your annoyance was misplaced.
You were annoyed you could not find a Doc, you should have been annoyed that there is no *REASON* for anyone to be a doc. I used to be one, a rather good one if I do say so myself, and there is nothing in the Doc tree in Post-CU that makes it worth the skill points to get novice. You are better off getting 4000 TK and dealing with it that way, that is a MUCH better use of SP as you get the 500 point powerboost as well.
Entertainers will soon be adding in new and other special buffs that will give all sorts of nifty new specials to the various professions. Things like bonus to crafting, adding new effects to object being crafted. It will be really nifty to visit entertainers in the near future.

No, I'm annoyed because getting wounds healed was a pointless time sink. Did it really add anything fun to the medical professions? Unless you'rea massochist, I think not. I don't want to have to take TKA just to play the game. That is why this needed to be removed. It was poor excuse for a lack of content for doctors, and a cheap attempt at a penalty for pilots, since they had nothing better in mind.
Honestly, you should be penalized by no more than 5 minutes of timefor even the most dire deaths.Otherwise, it simply becomes un-fun and a time sink. If you enjoyed having wounds, fine, go penalize yourself by pretending your character needs to heal at a med center, but don't penalize the rest of us that want to play the game rather than sitting around healing or scouring the galaxy for a doctor willing to sit around healing.
It was a completely mundane element of the game that was removed.
Ahh, so we should not get wounds at all? Ok, and lets just say we never clone then either, 10-60 second incap is fine. No ramifications at all, ok. so what is the point then?
5 minute penalty? Hell, pre CU it would never have taken 5 min to get wounds healed, plenty of docs around back then. Again, I think this is misplaced, but you are free to disagree.
