Thread: Capital Ships PROGRAMMED!!
I'm sure it's client side - just seems odd that, considering how many options for graphic control the ground game has, space has so little.
And back to the post at the top, can I pick C - both of the above?
256mb graphics card and gig of 400mhz ccr ram dual channel on an n-force 2 ultra mobo

Yup.
Personally, I think this will be interesting, however it turns out.
As for my hardware...Umm...It bytes.
OOO, bad pun!

hate bring your thunder further but i run this game nearly at full res with an athlon 1600 cpu and win 2k with svc pack 4

Thats why i have 2 gigs of pc 3600 ram with a 9800 pro. Not the greatest by todays standards but it does the job when your on a budget.
>> AMD 64 chips will PWN a standard athlon on overall performance till the cows come home..Untill you compare performance on both youll not know the difference
My old box was a 2GHz AMD 2400 chip. Now this AMD64 3000 im using now is only rated at 1.8 GHZ, but it blows the 2400 out of the water on everything ive ran both chips on. Theres really no contest between the two. When i can afford it, im upgrading to a higher end AMD64, the 3000 model was to hold me over tell i can afford better.

Yeah, bet you're right. BTW, this thread seems to have been hijacked in the name of computer hardware, let's leave.

I bet they had them programmed when JTL went live, and STILL havent figured out how to put em in

Funny thing about hardware, once you mention it, everyones gotta compare
My computer is powered by steam
bet it's 8 months before we see them. that's a serious estimate. let's not get too excited with all this hardware and zone lag talk. it'll be a major expansion and lucasarts will have to green light it. what kind of content do you think lucasarts is green lighting at the moment and in the foreseeable future? i wouldn't even count on it for the expansion after mustafarm to be honest.

Ill make this wager:
Capital ships will:
a.) Be nothing but a glorfied deci/nova/YT and about as equally as "useful" as said ships.
b.) will break something, and whatever it breaks will go unfixed for months upon months. Either in itself, or some other aspect of JTL. [Seriously, even adjustments not inteded for space can be felt in space. THe CU for example screwed up the Rebel station (or sometime there abouts), their last UI improvements not meant for us skewed the component quickview, now we cant view or cargo holds, etc.]

Do to all the traffic in space(the captial ships and all) The sky will start to fall on most planets. Weapons will only do 1DSP and a lvl 1 nuna will be able to kill a full templated jedi master with 1 hit.
The end is here. Are you ready?
