Thanks a lot for the advice!

You're on Starsider I see. In that case, when you wish for some PvP practise, give me a shout. I like helpin gout where I can and having another person to show my A-wing off too is also good

If your aim is PvP, use a rapid fire crafted gun. The goal using a heavy Z95 is to imagine your Awing loadout, but with an upgraded engine and/or weapon. A crafted Mark 4 shield should do the trick.

Not sure I agree with this. PvE quickfires give you a nice DPS - but in PvP where you might only hit occasionally, I'm leaning more to big hits. I fought some guy in an Actis with my crafted quickfire and couldn't take him down. I hit him plenty, but he could shunt it off easily before I could get in another shot. This was an Advanced blaster on a different server than Bloodfin. If I'd had my Bloodfin guns which are re'd and have nice damage, those five or six times I hit him would have more than ripped his little ship apart.

Are you a pilot and not using Droid Commands?

That depends. If your opponents are flying in mini-JSFs, a faster gun gives you more chances to land hits. Alternatively, you could add a light piece of ordnance to distract your enemy.

Also:

If you can, try to fit in EO4. Even with an RE6 engine, you can hit some really mean sliding. I used one as a primary before I got my Adv. X.I remember being able to pivot 360 degrees around a stationary target with my guns on it the whole time.

I'm not flaming or being funny but, seriously...people actually think a Z-95 looks better than an A-wing? I'm just kind of surprised. Maybe I just have aweful taste when it comes to aesthetics .
