You should do the least amount of repairs at a space station, then Hyperspace to your planet that takes you to deep space. Once there, repair, and BOOM! Tough Actin Tinactin!

"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team"

Shipwrights should be able to make and sella chassis repair kit for these ships, like the BARC has.

You lost 200 of off the 2000 because decay is a 10% loss. You were left with 1800, so next death would chop off 180, not another 200, and you'd be left with 1620. Another would mean 1458, then 1312, etc... and as said, never less than 10 chassis points remaining (but it'll be a lot of deaths to get there).

Gripe upward; these ships should be craftable. Then replacability wouldn't be an issue. People wouldn't be so afraid of decay. I argued this in the shipwright forums for better component stats. The engines and capacitors got stat boosts, finally making the prenerf reward engine obsolete. After the crafter candy, ROTW was realeased. They repeated their earlier mistake.Apparently SOE didn't learn their lesson about decay-o-phobia.

I don't know what you RE your components with, but pre-nerf reward engienes are far from obsolete.

Yep i'm still trading ADK's or paying obscene amounts of credits for any I can find. Ain't a SW on any server that can beat this engine including myself.

Engine (RE)
Drain1455.5
Mass 8748.4
Pitch 70.8
Yaw 69.9
Roll 70.8
Speed 95.9

Other than the mass, the engine I received from Nym's starmap quest is better than that WITHOUT being RE'd yet.

If you get shot down, limp over to deep space. If your engines are dead, land. Once on the ground, do a partial repair on your engine only. If reactor is hit, then do the same. Launch into space and hit deep space. Once you hyper back, all damage should be repaired. This may take a few extra minutes, but it is worth the time vs decay in my opinion.

LOL this is a level 6 and that is a level 8. The mass is what makes this engine so nice. I thought we were talking about CRAFTED engined vs the pre-nurf reward engines and whether or not they are obsolite. Your local shipwright giving Nym the engines to hand out?

Are pilots just thick headed? Please tell me the Shipwright that crafted that engine. It looks to me that it is a RE'ed pre-nurf level 6 reward engine. Once again the conversation is about the boost crafted engines got making re'ed pre-nurfs obsolite. So your statement does nothing but support my arguement so YOULOSE and I WIN, sorry

There's two ways to read your original statement, neither thick headed. No need to be insulting. Tomo is a shipwright, and he did beat your engine. If you want to pick nits, next time state that there's no one that craft an engine better than your's, and your point will be clearer.

I think if you read this thread you would get the jist of the conversation UNLESS you are A) thick-headed, or B) Argumentative
