They announced this yesterday in the RotW Beta forums... trust me when I say there was much jubliation 
. We had to restrain ourselves from posting anything out here, but thankfully they only took a day to tell the rest of you .

So Tomo, can you confirm/deny that this is *just* for the digital download and not the CD version? Seems kinda silly to give the capability to some JTL players and not others, post ROTW.

The announcement was the first I'd heard of it being for digital download only. I'll check in on this and see what the deal is.

Where is it stated that this is exclusive to the expansion via DDL only?
I'm not complaining in fact I'm crazy happy that I prepurchased this already for both my accounts and can't wait to use those slots but it doesn't sound possible that htey are not giving this to the store bought folks too. But it's a nice way of saying thank you for sticking with us!

3?! 3?!?!!?!? I thought 1 would be great, 2 would be uber and next to impossible. But 3?!
Well, that was the only problem I had. Other than content of course. But now the game is perfect and the JTL Dev team can add content and fix bugs. No new changes needed anymore.

My understanding is it only comes with the digital download of the RotW expansion. I know this is an issue for those who, due to connection issues, game cards, etc. can't order the digital download, so right now I'm trying to find out if there's any wiggle room on this.

maybe they should give 6 to preorders and 5 to everyone else this kinda sucks as I use gamecards as well.

It could be a long time before I whip out my carbine again, unless it's a duel in a POB ship... 
With six slots, I will only be setting foot on ground to craft more space stuff. If you slot them, they will come....... It's funny; we ask for five, they give us six. Some of these newly released concepts never hit the in-concept forums. This makes me curious as to what else the devs have up their sleeves.
