Thread: Inquisition Tier 4: bug cost me rewards but CSRs refuse to help

Going too fast i dont think is the problem here.
I remastered imp pilot about 3 times under inquisition and each time it was bugged. I did it a couple ways.
1.) doing it as soon as i received it.
2.) Logging of and doing it later after recieving it.
In case 1, id do the WP' ,and "mission successful" the little victory tune plays and then nothing. I tried inspecting, disabling, docking, and finally blowing up that YT in different combo's and NOTHING. Mission successful every time, and the trainer just offers me another duty mission on my return as if nothing ever happpend.
In case 2, i had the EXACT OPPOSITE occur. Same 3 wp's, except, "Mission failed" every time. Hit the last Waypoint - mission failed. Going back to the trainer resulted in an arse chewing and going back out only to fail again and again. Petitioning did nothing to help.
After much head banging on the wall, i finally figured out that if i abort the mission right after he gives it to me, and then grabbing it again i *THINK* got it to work. I have 1 damn bolt driver now. heh. Im gonna do the other imp squadrons for a couple more.

It's actually possible to encounter this bug at the novice missions, too. If you have a prenerf level 1 with high speeds and use an EO3 chip in an astromech/flight computer, you can buzz through the waypoints on (I think) the third mission and never have the second stage trigger. At novice, though, you have to do land and get the mission again...and again...and again, until you do it slow enough that your second stage triggers. You don't automatically get bumped up to the next mission or get to train a box.

Not too fast in the sense of launching immediately after receiving the mission, but flying too fast between the waypoints. Mission script is on a timer, it'll generate the next stage of the mission during your patrol, if you finish the patrol before the timer runs out it gets stuck.

Well, considering when I did the Imperial squadrons I ran into this twice, I'd say it's a result of patrolling too fast. Run the patrols at around 500 and I'd bet there would be no problem.

I've done Inquisition twice. Flew full speed the 1st time on that mission. Mission cut off after the patrols. Flew half speed after training box 2, mission updated correctly. Got 3 rewards. Mastered, dropped. Started Inquisition again, flew half speed the 1st time. Got 4 rewards. Had the same problem in a crimson phoenix patrol, flew half speed, mission went on correctly. I fly all patrols half speed now, no more problems.

Yup, i encountered this, this morning and thought of this thread icronicaly enough. Black epsilon, teir 2 mission. waypoint patrol, mission successful, etc.

Yes its bugged I too didnt get that bolt driver however before you see him for that reward mission re logg then go see him and he gives the reward

All right.. is it running the patrols too fast that prevents you from getting the tier 4 reward loot, or is it simply a function of Inquisition that, for whatever reason, you don't get the tier 4 stuff?
I haven't tried this squad yet due to hearing you don't get the reward loot, but it sounds like something I'm going to have to make time to test over the next week or two.
