I know I've gotten previous rewards, but they standardly aren't very impressive or interesting. Now this Borstel Disruptor, it's a different story!

There are many "good" rewards, you just need to know what you're looking at. Here are some examples:

The L4 booster given in tier2. There is NOTHING with that energy, and it's a good easy RE project to sink your teeth on early. I use REd L4 rewards on most of my ships.

The L6 engine in tier3. Yeah, its "post nerf" yeah, it needs to be REd, but it's still better than anything you've bought or looted up to that point. Makes another good "learning to RE" project, and a perfect grinding engine, that you dont have to care if it gets blowed up a lot. the Mass to speed is still exceptional.

The Privateer L8 engine- largely trumped by by getting a good QID, but still has higher armor and hp than any loot, and if you get shafted by Nym, this is a good consistent fallback.

The L6 armor. Most people totally miss this one. Ive bought them a lot on the bazaar. Post RE to lower the mass, and its the toughest lightest stuff you can get

The other nice thing about the rewards (for instance especially the engine) for the new pilots is that you can get them, pop them into your chassis, and use them to level up. You don't have to worry about decay because after you Master the squad, you can just RE them with any part that has full condition.
