The rihk has 10k more mass and a better fire pattern.

only way is if you count the Adv X wing for PvE imo better than any other for PvE

The rebels have the best combination of firepower, mass, and maneuverbility in the X-wing varients. Althougth that is my own personal opinion and you may or may not agree with. Argueing about which is "better" is mostly a mute point because everyone has different tastes, but the way I see it the rebels at master get 2, or three depending on your view, easily-viable fighters that provide a good balence of PvP and PvE (A and X-wing). Neutrals have, in my opinion, one really good fighter, the krayt (which at most is a 3.5 gun ship as it takes an exceptionally skilled gunner to make a significant number of kills). Several others (Rhikx and Dunelizard) are pretty good ships but, again in my opinion, arn't as good and are only good in PvE. They don't have a really good, non-quest, pvp ship. Imperials are the opposite. They have 2 good (Oppressor and Advanced) and 1 good with good parts (Intercperter) ships that are all good at PvP (depedning on style), but they lack a really good PvE ship. Again ship choice comes entirely down to personal preference but, to me, the rebels have the most balenced group of ships of any of the squadrons.
The gunner on the krayt, any "bozo the clown" can be a good gunner on the Krayt. If you tell him to fire straight ahead and aim for what you're shooting at. If you roll a little so the enemy is moving up from your perspective the gunner will get in more hits then you.
The A-wing is not a good PvE ship, even Leaph will agree with me on that. Unless you spend months of RE'ing you just won't be able to get enough firepower on it.
As for the X-Wing being good in PvP, it requires some pretty good components and skill to take out the most encounted PvP enemy these days.
Simple put: The imperials have the best PvP ships, the neutrals have the best PvE ships. Rebels have a mixed bag that can do both but excel at neither. Not, as mentioned in the post I initially responded too, all theadvantages.

I'm not sure where you got the A-wing being good at PvE and the X-wing good at PvP but its switched.

Again the x-wing has much much better maneuverbility.
Which is needed in PvE for?

c'mon Washell, everyone knows you're the ubersmart but on this one I think ESM is right. I've flown both the Krayt and the Advanced X until my wrist ached worse than that of a 15 year old on viagara, and I can say with confidence that the kill frequency (IMO the only meaningful way to operationalize PVE success) is much higher with the better chassis responsiveness stats.
