True, at the time of the actual battle I was not aware of the bug. At this point I am. I still fly it, mainly because all of my components are geared for it. Besides, the JSF is not exactly an "Imperial" fighter, and the Oppressor is a pig. I'm working on putting together a 50K mass Tie Interceptor right now actually, I think I have it worked out but well see.

I managed to solo my way up to facing 4 Chiss Colony Ship Nova Couriers.Had to bail on it there, three was barely managable by splashing one hard on the first pass while twirling like a ballerina to avoid being chewed to pieces on the rest of the flyby. Four of them just chewed my ass up till I was smoking and trailing fire. Had to abort.

This happened a 4-5 weeks ago, on Bloodfin we have this PvP event on sundays in DS... Here we are 5 Rebels I think at the peak against 8 or 9 Imperial pilots... We had 2 XWings, 1 AWing, 1 Grievous and a Vaksai (I think) they had 5 JSF, 2 Heavy TIEs and 1 Griev or Opp... Me flying my XWing gets wasted bigtime (such a big target in a many vs many situation) I think I have time to fly 1 or 2 360 degree circles...I think wth, Im destroyed so I go and get my JSF, remove my mining gear from it and get some real weapons equipped.. Load into space, doh... forgot droid... land get the droid installed, launch run the programs on the way to DS... Hyper in... head to the waypoint with an XWing... the 2 Heavy TIEs is guarding the waypoint (I know one have this really nasty lvl 10 gun, so I take no chances... kill him first... being overly agressive... I kill him right as he blast my wingmans XWing into tiny pieces... Ok well... the other Hvy is much easier... BOOM...

Now Im alone at the waypoint... I target a Grievous heading in (Shrug I have the advantage now) few moments later boom Im alone again... then I get that ping that means someone targetted me... (by now 2 rebels came back to help out) I see 5 red boxes closing ... target next enemy player... again... again... 5 enemy JSFs... My wings (1 XW 1 AW) is killed in no time at all... so Its me against these 5 people... I jink, I juke... take a hit in my rear shield... 40% shield loss (crap weapon, CtSS and Im clean again) Hmm my target is a slippery one... so I shoot a few times at one, target next shoot at him and so on....

Somehow that evening I took out 2 Hvy and a Opp... then took out all 5 JSF only taking 1 hit in my rear shield... For the next 45 mins we held the WP... I didnt die once... the Imps left their group one by one... This have to be the best moment yet in space for me... I singlehanded took out the entire Imperial team (many of which are very good pilots) I told myself Id never fly my JSF in a PvP event again... damn ship is simply too unbalanced

The JSF setup was something along these lines:

Lvl 10 engine, 96.9 speed 84+ PYR

1 lvl 7 RE Boltdriver

1 lvl 6 RE lvl 6 gun 2800+ max

1984 strenght shield

Prenerf DI

13.5k RE lvl 1 reactor
