Don't forget to kill the gunboats, even if you have to follow and kill them after taking the vette.

The next person waiting for thier ace badge will thank you for it.

Ok heres a simple step by step for destroying the vette:

• Make sure you have some mark III concusion missiles.


• First thing is to take out the fighter escort, this can be achieved easily by agroing one and flying away pulling them safely from the gunboats


• once the fighters are down I like to take out weapon 5 on the vette, this gives you a nice blind spot on the vette, it also means if some one else comes along and destroyes it you'll still get mission complete providing your in kessel.


• Next step is the gunboats, you only need to disable them. once disabled they're self destruct after a moment. its important that the gunboats are destroyed, if not you can screw up the vette spawn.


• once the gun boats are down the rest is a walk in the park. position your ship so your just behind the engines, the vette wont be able to hit you here.


• take out the shields and secondary shields with your missiles.


• take out the engine with your blasters


• take out the reactor with more missiles


• fly around to the front and laugh as you destroy the bridge.
